The boat

This Zodiac Hurricane has a proud history. It was built for the U.S. Special Operations Command in 1994, and assigned to Special Boat Unit TWELVE in Coronado, CA where it supported missions carried out by Seal Teams ONE, THREE, and FIVE until 1998. Then from 1998 to 2002 it supported Explosives Ordnance Disposal Group ONE Very Shallow Water Mine Counter Measures Detachment also in Coronado, CA. In 2003, it was transferred to the USMC 1st Reconnaissance Battalion at Camp Pendleton here in Oceanside, CA until it was retired from military service in 2006.

Simply a fun and reliable boat. Great for whale watching, fishing, diving, or just cruising.
