Spend the day on Sarasota Bay the way locals do, with slow cruising, sandbar stops and a long lunch by the water. This boat is set up for comfort, with room for up to 6 Guests and everything you need to stay out as long as you like.
Getting started is simple. Choose from several pick-up spots around Sarasota, step on board and head out into the bay. Keep an eye on the water as you go, because manatees and dolphins are regular company here. Bring a camera, or just enjoy the moment when a dolphin surfaces a few feet from the boat.
When you find a sandbar you like, drop anchor, climb down the swim ladder and spend some time in the shallow water. Rinse off afterward at the freshwater deck shower, then move on to the next spot. The depth finder helps keep the ride smooth through the bay’s shallower stretches.
Pack your own food and drinks in the cooler, or tie up at one of the many dockside restaurants along the bay. Dock ’n’ dine is one of the best parts of a Sarasota boat day. Alcohol is welcome on board, so bring whatever your crew enjoys.
Families are welcome too. Kids under 12 are allowed, and children’s life jackets are on board. The marine bathroom means nobody has to cut the day short, and the stereo takes care of the soundtrack while you cruise.
This is a day for good company, warm water and no particular schedule. You’ll probably stay out longer than you planned.
