Meet The Invitation
The Invitation is our personal 2020 Avalon Catalina 2385 RJ tritoon—spacious, beautifully maintained, low-hour, and made for comfortable days on Lake Travis.
With seating for up to 12, a large rear J-lounger, reclining captain and co-pilot chairs, and dual Bimini tops, there’s plenty of room to spread out, settle into the shade and enjoy the lake at your own pace. The two Biminis can even zip together for extended sun coverage. Just tell us whether you'd like one up, both up, or the tops down and we'll have them ready for you.
The boat is powered by a 150 HP four-stroke outboard and triple-pontoon performance package, providing a smooth, stable ride with plenty of power for cruising Lake Travis. A 38-gallon fuel tank makes longer lake days easy.
For music, connect your phone via Bluetooth to the upgraded 500-watt sound system with 12" subwoofer.
We recently added a Garmin GPS/navigation system with lake mapping, depth information and fish finder—particularly helpful with Lake Travis's changing water levels.
Pickup & Ramp; Lake Access
Our primary launch location is Cypress Creek Ramp on Lake Travis, located on Bullock Hollow Road before RM 2769. See the map photo in the listing.
We may also be able to arrange alternate Lake Travis pickup/drop-off locations, particularly for full-day, captained or multi-day rentals. This can include private docks associated with lakefront vacation rentals. Just ask us what's possible for your dates.
What's On Board
The Invitation comes equipped with required boating and safety equipment, including properly sized adult life jackets/PFDs, throwable flotation equipment, dock lines, a 15-lb anchor with 150 feet of anchor line, phone charging and other essential equipment.
Children under 13 are welcome, but Texas requires them to wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while the boat is underway. Please let us know about children in your group before your rental so we can make sure you're prepared.
Floats & Watersports: Watersports and towing are not currently permitted. However, individual floats for anchoring, swimming and lounging are provided.
Make the Day Your Own
Keep things simple and spend the day cruising, swimming and floating—or add a few extras. Some options may not appear directly in Boatsetter's add-on menu, so message us if you're interested.
Karaoke — $40/day
Bluetooth karaoke setup with speaker and two microphones. Somebody eventually wants the microphone.
Coolers - $25 per day
Choose from a 152-qt Igloo MaxCold or 48-qt RTIC. One less bulky thing to haul to the lake.
Work-from-the Lake Package: Starlink Wi-Fi — $60–$120/rental period
Available when you need reliable connectivity on the water; data allowance varies by package. There is a 500-watt inverter with standard 120V household outlets. Standard 12V phone charging is already included.
Experience & Captained Options:
Experienced, responsible boaters are preferred, and all operators must meet Boatsetter and applicable boating requirements. Lake Travis can be challenging for someone without experience, particularly as water levels and navigation conditions change.
If you're not comfortable operating the boat—or simply want to relax—we may be able to provide a captain. We can also spend time familiarizing qualified renters with "The Invitation" and Lake Travis before departure. Captained experiences can provide greater flexibility for pickup and drop-off locations, including private docks. For longer charters, ask us about options throughout Lake Travis.
Multi-day rentals on Lake Travis, Lake Austin and Lake LBJ may also be considered for experienced boaters when secure overnight docking is available. Reduced multi-day rates may apply.

I love bringing people together and creating spaces where everyone can relax, connect and have a great time. Some of my favorite days are spent on the water with family and friends, good music, something cold in the cooler and nowhere we need to rush off to.
We take a lot of pride in "The Invitation" and have worked to make her comfortable, beautiful and well cared for. She's spacious, has plenty of shade, and is equally suited for a quiet afternoon cruising the lake or a fun celebration with your favorite people.
I'm big on the details—especially cleanliness, organization and safety—and want every renter to feel comfortable and confident before heading out.

Cancellation policy flexible
- Free cancellations until 24 hours before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
