Enjoy a completely private Fort Lauderdale boat day aboard a spacious 40-foot, U.S. Coast Guard-inspected commercial passenger vessel.
The boat operates under a Certificate of Inspection authorizing private groups of up to 22 passengers, allowing everyone to stay together instead of splitting between multiple smaller boats.
IMPORTANT: RENTERS MUST NOTIFY FREAKY TIKI BEFORE THE CHARTER OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF MINORS WEIGHING UNDER 100 POUNDS SO THE CREW CAN PREPARE THE REQUIRED CHILD SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
There are no unrelated guests onboard—just your group, your music, and your plans for the day.

THE FREAKY TIKI EXPERIENCE
Cruise through the protected waterways of the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal while enjoying waterfront homes, yachts, city views, and South Florida sunshine.
Connect your phone to the Bluetooth sound system, bring your favorite drinks and food, and make the trip as lively or relaxed as your group prefers.
Swimming is completely optional. Guests are welcome to remain aboard for the entire charter.
Swim and sandbar stops depend on the weather, tides, water depth, marine traffic, charter duration, and the captain’s safety judgment. The captain makes all final decisions concerning the route, speed, swimming, and stopping locations.
WHAT TO BRING
Guests should bring:
• Beverages and ready-to-eat food
• Cups, plates, utensils, napkins, mixers, and bottled water
• Towels
• Reef-safe sunscreen
• Sunglasses and hats
• Valid photo identification
• Swimsuits or a change of clothes
• Comfortable recreational swimming life jackets when desired
• A charged phone with your music downloaded
Food may be delivered or catered when arranged with the crew in advance. The boat does not have equipment for cooking, heating, or preparing food.
IMPORTANT POLICIES
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure.
Late arrival does not extend the charter’s original ending time, as another reservation may be scheduled afterward.
The boat is available only during the confirmed booking period. All decorating, loading, setup, cleanup, and unloading must take place within the reserved charter time.
PASSENGER CAPACITY
The maximum capacity is 22 passengers.
Every person onboard counts toward the passenger limit, including children, infants, and outside vendors such as bartenders, DJs, photographers, or entertainers.
AGE AND ALCOHOL
At least one guest who is 18 or older must be onboard.
Alcohol may be brought aboard only when at least one guest age 21 or older is present. Only guests who are 21 or older may possess or consume alcohol.
The person who made the reservation should bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Guests may bring ready-to-eat food, snacks, sandwiches, catering trays, cakes, and other prepared items.
The boat cannot cook, warm, or prepare food.
Two large coolers and ice are provided. Cups, plates, utensils, napkins, mixers, and bottled water are not provided.
Glass bottles and red wine are permitted, but thin or fragile wine glasses are not allowed. Please use plastic wine glasses, sturdy tumblers, or other durable drinkware.
ONBOARD BATHROOM
The boat has a fully private porcelain flushing marine toilet, and toilet paper is provided.
The marine toilet is for liquid waste only. Guests should use the public restroom at the pickup area before departure for any more substantial bathroom needs.
SWIMMING AND SWIM LADDER
Swimming is optional and permitted only when authorized by the captain.
SWIM LADDER LIMIT: THE SWIM LADDER HAS A MAXIMUM USER-WEIGHT LIMIT OF 250 POUNDS. GUESTS WEIGHING MORE THAN 250 POUNDS MAY NOT USE THE SWIM LADDER.
Guests should not enter the water unless they are confident they can safely return to the boat.
Type I safety life jackets are carried onboard. Anyone who wants a more comfortable recreational swimming life jacket should bring a properly fitted one.
Sandbar depth changes with the tide and may range from very shallow water to several feet deep.
Weather, lightning, currents, boat traffic, tides, water depth, or other unsafe conditions may prevent swimming or a sandbar stop.
CHILDREN AND INFANTS
Children and infants of every age are welcome, and each one counts toward the 22-passenger maximum.
Renters must provide the number and approximate weights of all minors under 100 pounds before the charter so the crew can prepare the required child safety equipment.
Type I child safety PFDs are carried aboard.
Families with infants must bring a properly fitted specialty infant life jacket.
The provided Type I safety PFDs are intended for emergency protection rather than comfortable recreational swimming. Families should bring properly fitted recreational swimming life jackets for children who plan to enter the water.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following are not permitted onboard:
• Marijuana or cannabis in any form
• Illegal drugs or illegal substances
• Fireworks, sparklers, or explosives
• Hookahs
• Grills
• Candles
• Open flames of any kind
• Glitter
• Confetti
• Real or artificial flower petals
• Thin or fragile wine glasses
• Anything illegal, hazardous, or considered unsafe by the captain
Properly used prescription medication is permitted, but guests are responsible for bringing and managing their own medication.
DAMAGE, EXCESSIVE CLEANUP, AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Normal post-charter cleaning is included. Excessive cleanup caused by guests, including but not limited to vomit, blood, urine, feces, other bodily fluids, or solid bodily waste, will incur a $200 excessive-cleaning fee.
The $200 excessive-cleaning fee may also apply when guest conduct leaves the boat requiring cleaning, sanitizing, deodorizing, stain removal, or waste disposal beyond normal post-charter service.
The renter is responsible for the behavior of every guest and outside vendor in the group.
Guests will be financially responsible for any damage, loss, staining, breakage, burning, clogging, destruction, or misuse of the boat or its property caused by anyone in their group, whether accidental or intentional.
This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the marine toilet, seating, upholstery, flooring, railings, tables, electronics, sound system, coolers, floating mat, safety equipment, decorations, fixtures, or any other part of the vessel.
The renter may be charged the documented cost of professional cleaning, repair, replacement, or restoration in addition to the $200 excessive-cleaning fee. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
WEAPONS
Firearms, knives, and other weapons may never be openly carried, displayed, handled, or visible onboard.
Any lawfully carried concealed item must remain completely concealed at all times.
The captain may refuse any item or behavior considered unsafe. Questions involving a particular item must be discussed before boarding.
DECORATIONS AND OUTSIDE VENDORS
Secure balloons and banners are welcome.
Decorations may be installed only after the boat and your group arrive and must be removed before the charter ends.
Decorating and cleanup must take place within the reserved charter time.
Loose decorations that could enter the water are prohibited.
Professional DJs, bartenders, photographers, entertainers, and other vendors require advance approval. Every outside vendor counts toward the 22-passenger maximum.
PERSONAL ITEMS AND ELECTRICITY
Towels are not supplied. Dry areas are available for phones, wallets, and bags.
USB charging outlets are normally available but are not guaranteed to be operational.
The boat does not have standard 110-volt household electrical outlets. A television, microphone, and karaoke equipment are not provided.
ACCESSIBILITY
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
The crew has assisted guests with disabilities in the past, but available assistance depends on the guest’s individual needs, the dock, and conditions on the day of the charter.
All accessibility needs must be discussed before booking.
SERVICE ANIMALS AND PETS
Service animals are permitted.
Other pets are considered individually and must receive approval before the trip.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS, PREGNANCY, AND SEASICKNESS
The normal route is generally calm and protected, but no boat trip can guarantee that a guest will not experience motion sickness.
Guests should bring any medication they may need.
Guests who are pregnant or have a medical condition should speak with their medical provider when appropriate and consider their individual health and the expected boating conditions before participating.
CAPTAIN’S AUTHORITY AND WEATHER
The captain has final authority over the vessel, route, passenger conduct, swimming, music volume, stopping locations, and all safety-related decisions.
Unsafe weather, lightning, marine traffic, water conditions, passenger behavior, or mechanical concerns may require a route change, prevent swimming, or cause the boat to return early.
Payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are governed by the policy displayed with the Boatsetter reservation.
CREW GRATUITY
A 20% gratuity is the industry standard and is very appreciated by the Freaky Tiki captain and crew.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
