A Private Charleston Sailing Adventure to Morris Island

Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Charleston Harbor on the 38 ft. Catalina sailboat "Liahona" with a day trip (approximately 6 hours) sailing to Morris Island, an 840-acre uninhabited island only accessible by boat. You'll have the opportunity to disembark from the Liahona and go to shore to enjoy the beach, go shelling and exploring, or check out the 150-year-old lighthouse. It's about a 90-minute sail out to the island where we'll sail right by some of Charleston's most famous landmarks such as Castle Pinckney, Fort Sumter, USS Yorktown and the Ravenel Bridge. You will have then entire 38ft. sailboat to yourself, where you'll be able to choose sun or shade with the removable bimini top in the seating area and a cockpit table for food and drinks. Down below is a bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator/freezer and a cockpit shower on back of the boat to wash off sand and salt. Trips are completely customizable, whether you want to take the wheel and learn to sail or test out your sea legs by going offshore to experience the big ocean, the boat is yours for the duration of the charter just let the captain know where you want to go and what you want to do and he'll make it happen. Up to 6 guests all ages welcome! Bring lunch, food and drinks in a soft sided cooler or you can use fridge on board, bottled water provided. Comes with USCG licensed Captain.
