Choose how you want to spend it.
Anchor out. Find a quiet spot, drop the anchor and slide into the water. Swimming is welcome, so pack your suits and a towel and plan to stay in longer than you meant to. Float, talk, snack, repeat. It’s the simplest way to slow down.
Sunset cruise. Head out in the late afternoon and stay for the best part of the day. Watch the light turn gold, then orange, then pink over the water. Alcohol is allowed on board — red wine included — so bring a bottle and a couple of glasses and toast the end of the day the right way.
Dolphin excursion. Cruise local waters and keep your eyes on the surface. Dolphins are wild, so every trip is different, but the looking is half the fun. The first person to spot a fin gets bragging rights for the ride home.
