Our pontoon is a great way to see Prior Lake, enjoying swimming, paddle boarding or any fun water activity. Charlie's restaurant has great food and can be delivered to the pontoon, dockside.
Pontoon can take up to 11 people or up to 1550 lbs max. Bimini cover, 14 life jackets in various sizes provided along with throwable PFD.
If you are/were active Military or currently a 1st Responder, let me know prior to booking for a discount.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL MINNESOTA RENTERS:
- Minnesota Statute 86B.306 requires ANY operator of ANY age (18+) of ANY rental watercraft have a valid Watercraft Operator's Permit. Sec. 86B.306 MN Statutes
- How do I get a Minnesota Watercraft Operators Permit?
- Option 1: 180 day temporary permit
- Option 2: Permanent / Lifetime Minnesota permit

- Please note that these legislative changes are confusing: a very similar boating law passed at the same time which requires a watercraft operator's permit based on age, phase-in time until 2028, to ensure every boater born after July 1, 1987 to operate their own / private watercraft. This is NOT the rental law and while similar, does not apply to rental watercraft.
- All operators of rented watercraft must have a valid Watercraft Operator Permit, regardless of age.

This is not a "see how many people we can get on a boat and rip things up". The Captain should know how to dock a pontoon or at least pretend too!
The pontoon will be in the water and waiting on the dock. When you return I will be there to help you, if needed. If the Captain is worried about docking, I'd be happy to hop on at the end of rental time and dock it for you. There are stairs going down the lake, if you have mobility issues and can't do stairs there is a public beach within eyesight you can come a board from.
If there is a time not available (M-F), I may be able to adjust my time to make it work. Thanks for considering our pontoon and much thanks to our repeat Captains, we truly appreciate you all.
New Boater license requirements for renters will be as follow per MN DNR. If you are born before July 1st of 1987 no license required. For everyone else see below:
June 30, 2000 (starts July 1, 2026)
- June 30, 1996 (starts July 1, 2027)
- June 30, 1987 (starts July 1, 2028)

Cancellation policy flexible
- Free cancellations until 24 hours before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
