We could not have had a better experience with Captain Bob. We had reserved a trip on his boat for a specific purpose (scattering my mother's ashes), and he was absolutely fantastic. Understood exactly what we needed, and was gentle and kind. We could not have asked for a better captain during our time of sorrow. I recommend him highly and would absolutely rent from him again.

Captain Bob was amazing and the only charter at my time of booking that allowed recreational fishing while other passengers enjoyed the ride. Bob is also priced well! He knows a lot of Chicago history and has led an impressive career within the city. Bob always made sure that safety was a priority and happy to answer any questions. He was patient, fun to be around, and really accommodating. I would book again with Bob and recommend anyone who wants to have a good time and learn along the way.

Captain Bob is a joy to get to know and told great stories about all of the places in Chicago around Lake Michigan! He also helped me to capture my proposal to my girlfriend and she said yes of course!! A couple of the best hours of my life on this boat, we had a great time.

Captain Bob was an amazing host and captain! He is very knowledgeable about the city, lake and it's history. Captain Bob was exceptional across the board. Thinking of everything from a cooler full of ice, towels and different spots to take us to swim and anchor. The speed boat was great, as well! We had an absolute blast on the water for the afternoon. Best day ever! Thanks to Captain Bob!! Would absolutely recommend.

Captain Bob was fantastic! We had an incredible day on the water on "Fire Down Below". The boat was clean and well maintained. Captain Bob is incredibly knowledgable about Chicago, Lake Michigan, and the city's history. Would recommend Captain Bob for your future outing!

We had the most amazing time with Captain Bob! He is super friendly, told us some history of Chicago and took pictures. His boat is awesome and was perfect for our group of 3. We went to a few different spots in the lake, went swimming and got to enjoy Lake Michigan! I highly recommend Captain Bob and will be booking again next time I am in the city :)

Boat and Captain Bob were great. However, we ordered tubes through Boatsetter and were charged for them but never got them. Bob only had noodles on the boat. Not sure about your app and communication with the boat owners. Better to book Bob directly at Chicago Blue Water Charters. Also Bob, you need pics of the back of your boat for renters to see. There is one bench in the back for 4 and one up higher and then a seat next to the cabin so no place for all 6 to sit in back unless on a cooler

My girlfriends celebrated a 50th birthday aboard Captin Bob's boat. Captin Bob was wonderful. The boat is clean and well kept. He is safety first and highly experienced. He is flexible in where you want to go on the lake. He is a treasure trove of Chicago knowledge and happy to share. Would definitely book again with him and plan to next summer!

He is a certified Captain and knows all about the water and boat rules, safety and does and donts. The boat itself is a gem, its like a Porsche on the water. Capt. Bob was fantastic! Great with communication leading up to the trip, very knowledgeable on history and area, picked a great spot to swim and enjoy the sun. Very safe Captain as well!
