Captain Charlie and his sailboat, Daffy, were great. We were a group of 9—4 adults and 5 kids—and found the boat to be spacious and well appointed.

I went on a morning sailing trip with Charlie and 3 of my friends. Charlie was great and took care of us. The ride from his dock to the ocean is really nice. I would recommend Charlie to my friends and family.

Charlie is a very experienced sailor and will show you a great time. Our family wanted to spread ashes of a loved one and we couldn't be any more satisfied with our experience. I am a licensed sailboat captain and I am certain of Charlie's competence to provide a safe and enjoyable outing.

It doesn't get better than Charlie! He's a top notch sailer with a ton of stories for the adventure! Must be able to take a joke, a really great time! Charlie is passionate about his vessel with good reason so please treat him and Daffy with the utmost respect! I will be sailing again! Thanks Charlie! We had the best time!

My friends and I had an amazing time aboard the Daffy sailboat with Captain Charlie!! We are so glad we booked this trip to celebrate my 30th birthday. The boat is beautiful and I could not have asked for a more perfect day on the water! Charlie is kind, lots of fun, and very professional. He texted me with very helpful details in the days leading up to our trip, and was very responsive. You can tell he really knows what he is doing. Highly recommend!! My family of 4 had a great time on Daffy with Captain Charlie. Captain Charlie is safety conscious, experienced, entertaining, and mindful of the comfort and intentions of his crew. We each had a turn (or two) at the helm of Daffy under sail, making our experience exactly what we had hoped for! We enjoyed our sailing charter and getting to spend time with Captain Charlie. We had a great day with Captain Charlie! He was very responsive and accommodating, his boat is super nice, and our trip was beautiful and fun. We highly recommend him!

Charlie is a pro at this and knows how to show you a good time. The trek along the New River through downtown Ft. Lauderdale was really cool, you see all the mega mansions and go past the Riverwalk area, then onto the ocean where Charlie knew how to avoid the storm by consulting with his instruments and steering us a little south. He makes it fun with his interesting stories and assigning promotions/demotions as he sees fit! Being out on the ocean was awesome, get out there with Charlie!

Operator made no mention that charter was not to a single charterer but rather was double booked to multiple parties with neither party so informed. Upon arrival and throughout charter, operator was verbally abusive to guests and verbally threatened guests on multiple occasions. Vessel in poor state of repair with multiple systems and sensors non-functional.

A great girls afternoon out on the Daffy. It was a fun and safe trip. We played with dolphins and sun bathed. Captain Charlie was entertaining and allowed each of us the opportunity to be our best Captain. We will book with the Captain again.

Charlie was a very hospitable and accommodating Captain. He’s very funny and keeps you entertained while you’re sailing. He acknowledged the different skill levels of his guests and allowed us to partake in stearing and handling of the sails if we wanted to. I would recommend him to all my friends. If you come for a sail bring some sandwiches and drinks and snacks. He likes that!!

We had a wonderful afternoon on the Daffy! Captain Charlie started with an excellent safety briefing and set the expectations. Enjoy being a crew member or just a passenger, Captain Charlie let’s you set the tone. We’ll be back for another adventure on the Daffy!

Captain Charlie was amazing. He shared knowledge about ft Lauderdale and miami while heading down the river and also let us drive the boat some!

We had a wonderful afternoon sailing and enjoying the experience of being on the water. Captain Charlie was fun to be with and he made my birthday very special. We felt safe and well cared for.

My four year old, six-year-old and two parents went out with me. Captain Charlie was a true character and kind and wonderful. We had an amazing time and were entertained and did not regret a single second. I thought four hours might be too long with two kids at that age, but they loved it. Got a lot of stories and it was really cool seeing how almost every single boat knew our captain. He was super conscientious and very safety aware and had life jackets for kiddos. His boat was a dream, truly.

The Daffy is a fun boat and Charlie is an excellent captain. We had a great day sailing and Charlie's attitude, humor, and tight ship made us feel safe - even on a poor weather day with a 3 year old aboard! It was the first time sailing for our whole crew and we enjoyed learning about it and taking turns at the helm. I don't know when he managed to do it but Charlie also got some great photos of us. Sailing the Daffy with Captain Charlie was everything we hoped for and more. We reserved the boat to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday, and I can't imagine a more perfect way to mark a special occasion than on a gorgeous, luxury sailboat. Captain Charlie was super friendly, super accommodating, knows his stuff and made the day a breeze. Charlie was a great captain! Loved everything about our sailing day. He was very accommodating, friendly, responsive (via email and text), and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day for our first sailing experience. He is very engaging and has a lot of stories about his life in South Florida back in the day. Charlie was very clear with his rules and particular on what he likes and doesn't like. Some of us felt sea sick but then we saw dolphins and forgot about the rest.

Great flexibility, safety and great knowledge of Fort Lauderdale’s waterways. Totally recommend this boat! We were 4 and it was pretty comfortable. Captain Charlie is a great host and has a lot of good stories to share. Whether you want to stick around in the intracoastal or sail in the open ocean for a half day or full day, this choice will not disappoint you. I’ll definitely book with Captain Charlie again.

The Daffy was beautiful and Captain Charlie is witty and entertaining. He was available for questions and gave us all the info we would need for our trip. It was well organized and our trip was amazing. Charlie was the best meteorologist too and our sunset was stunning and the weather was amazing just as he advised! The Daffy was a great vessel and the perfect place to host an engagement session. I would do it all over again in a heart beat! Great experience!
