Experience was great— our first time using Boatsetter. Julia communicated well and was easy to coordinate with. The boat advertised a Bimini top which was unfortunately in for repairs so she offered to generously refund us a portion of the rental. Would recommend!

We had the most spectacular time boating on Lake Union. The boat was easy to operate, and although the waters were busy, folks were all friendly and polite as we navigated around. Sound system was awesome- easily connected our phones to play music and relax in the sun. Perfect way to end our vacation!!

The boat is nearly brand new and very easy to handle, and Pat showed up with the boat, briefed us, and picked up the boat afterwards all according to plan and right on schedule. It was a terrific day, and the support from the owners was great. Exploring Lake Union and Lake Washington is now ridiculously easy and user friendly with Boatbound and boat owners like Chris and Pat.

Can't recommend this rental enough! The boat is pretty simple, but it's all you need to explore Lake Union and Lake Washington. We were lucky to get a calm day and were able to cruise to Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, and all the way back to Fremont. Pat met us at the dock on time and was there waiting upon our return. It was perfect! We will definitely rent again!

Unfortunately it was a sub-par weather day which of course has nothing to do with the rental or service. The boat was great and host was helpful. On the downside the launch location was very far from where we wanted to be on Lake Washington, so we spent the majority of our rental getting there and back.

Great boat. The owner's dock manager Chris was very courteous and helpful. The only hiccup was that the fuel tank was not at full when we started, but like a good owner, Rainier saw to it that we were refunded for the fuel expense when we topped it off. Thank you!

Best experience ever, Such an easy smooth process

Super simple process. We had a great time!

Boat was brand new, but had a terrible imbalance in the propeller. When we came back and mention it to the staff, they knew about it, knowingly sending us out in a boat with a damaged propeller. This rental is through Ahoy, not Boatsetter and their rules are far more restrictive than other individuals, so be aware of that. Overpriced. Boat was very clean, though. Lastly, one of the staff members was short and treated me as if I didn’t know how to drive a boat when returning.

Chris was timely both on arrival and departure. The boat was perfect for the occasion and I highly recommend!

Lindsay made our boating experience enjoyable as the process to check-in was efficient. The boat met our expectations and we will definitely seek Lindsay out again when we decide to venture out on Lake Union and surrounding waterways.

Our time was cut short as the fuel station was not close to the dock (not previously disclosed by the owner). Nearly 20% of our 3 hour rental was spent refueling a boat we spent over $700 renting.

Super experience, great boat, owner was terrific. Definitely will try to rent it again.

The whole boating experience was excellent! The owner answered every question of mine patiently and replied my message promptly. The boat looks very new, it was also very clean and well maintained. Boat was great, for the most part. There is an "anchor" that doesn't do anything. When you switch the anchor lever, you hear no motor or any contraption that lowers it and you still end up drifting making it hard to go swimming for long periods of time.
Other main issue was the fueling. We started at 5:30 and ended at 8:30. We weren't told the gas station closed at 8, so we had no choice but to pay $20 + gas for them to refuel.

My wife and I rented this boat a week ago and it was awesome experience. The boat was clean, simple to operate and everything worked fine. We arrived and returned a little late, but Julia was not angry with us. Definitely recommend!

Very nice, quick, brand new boat. Customer service was excellent. Super easy to pick up and drop off. I would recommend renting for at least 4hours as you lose 30 min with having to refill gas before drop off.
