Solid boat when conditions were choppy. Brand new Suzuki engine and brand new boat cushions for the wife. Good location and easy to deal with. Fuel nearby to top off at the end of the day. Will rent with them again.

What a GREAT trip. Boat ran great. A few things could be fixed to make it a lot better. Lots of screws missing. Door not working.
BUT
It did what a Boat is supposed to do. Ran 40 minutes down to Ocean Reef to pickup scuba, wife and kids. Boat ran great. Beautiful day with flat calm and light and variable winds. Engine did not skip a beat. Ran out to Carysfort and had a good dive.
Next day ran down to Christ Statue and Benbow wreck.
2 great dives and great time with the family.
1 challenge is there is not a lot of seating.
Just the Captains chair and the small bench in front of it.
That meant two people sitting in captain chair.
3 sitting in the front and 1 standing behind.
It was fine but there isn't a lot of shade nor seating but it was a really good trip.
Thanks and will rent again.
Get a few of those things fixed please.

The boat ran well. The low hour Suzuki outboards were a plus. A nice chart plotter was useful. James was flexible and very helpful. He was kind to provide snorkeling gear. We look forward to our next visit.

The Mako 23 was in great shape(super clean). Perfect boat for running out to the reef for some fishing. We will book again.

Smooth rental experience

Great experience renting from James. boat ran great for the whole trip, and we had a blast. Took it out to Pennekamp, Molassess , and dove the Duane and the Bibb. The Mako is a great rig with plenty of room. Awesome time. I would definitely rent from him again if I'm in town.

Jay was excellent. Very thorogh at explaining everything, the psperwork, boat gear etc. His home is lovely with parking & so was the 22 Mako. The house is on ocean side just 3/4 min from the open water with markers to help navigate. The boat was equipped well & docked right behind his home. I would have liked to have been able to ask some questions before actually renting it but i believe this is not something that boatsetter website allows you to do & has nothing to do with James. TY !!!!

Sir James is the man. His boat was perfect for any kind of situation diving, fishing, party, exploring. We took the fishing route went out around the mollasses reef and caught a ton of fish and had an amazing time on a fellas trip. Thanks James!

Really nice size boat for 6 people, was able to load a lot of equipment on there. Transaction was easy and smooth and owner was very responsive and professional. Would definitely rent again.

Boat was equipped with chart plotter/GPS and required coast guard equipment. Process was extremely easy and cost was reasonable. Jay is a great owner and host! Will visit him again!

Great boat and great renter. Be prepared that one of the marinas for fuel is a pain. Also, there was a safety and navigation course we had to go over before taking the boat. It took about 30 mins.

The worst boat rental experience I have had. Ever. We received the boat on empty, maggots crawling out of the cooler in the worst condition. We tried to make it a good day and pushed past only to get stuck in open water due to an oil leak that my boyfriend had to refill twice. The boat also had no anchor, a broken trim tag, maggots, no cushions to park up, no ice, no water, no cooler. And the owner with a response 3 weeks later - tried to give grace and wait but refuse to any longer.

Jay's boat was perfect for what we needed. We wanted to snorkel off the coast of Key Largo with my parents and kids for the day. The boat was the perfect size for 7 people for snorkeling, and we hardly used any fuel. The boat was in good condition and had everything we needed including a dive flag. Jay gave us some local snorkeling sites to see, and they offered a wide variety of marine life, sea turtles, fish and sharks

I'm an experienced Great Lakes USCG OUPV Charter Capt that just wanted to take my wife out and fish the reefs and the mangroves in Pennekamp and cruise/explore. What a blast! Boats were well maintained, clean and have new Suzuki 4-strokes. Perfect DIY solution for any fisherman.

The boat held our party of 10 very comfortably with enough power to get us up to speed and through some pretty rough waters. We had a great time, thanks James!!
