Boat was perfect for our week on the lake.

Dave and Lee were both lovely and had the boat ready for us. They also provided clear instructions.

The boat is available to the public, but it's mainly for the guests who get lucky enough to stay at Dave & Lee's romantic cabin getaway. They make it super convenient to take the boat out from the cabin. The boat itself is perfect for the lake, easy to drive, perfect for cruising or exploring the lake. Not once did we have any issues and Dave's boat guide makes it extremely easy to take out and put back. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Dave Randall and his Bayliner if you are going to be anywhere near Lake Pend Oreille, ID. Our family vacation on the lake literally would have been setback without Dave's listing, approval and follow-through. The VR5 is very clean and comes as advertised, and if you know your way around a bowrider/sport boat there is no reason to hesitate! Dave sets you up with excellent instructions regarding all the logistics and operating procedures, and in our case went above and beyond at the last minute to help us modify the schedule and pickup the boat earlier than originally scheduled. We will definitely be back, thanks again Dave!

Dave was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. He was promptly responsive to questions and made the rental process very straightforward. His boat is in near-new condition and delivered very reliable fun on the lake. If we return to the Pend, I'll probably choose his boat again as this experience was very positive. However, I do agree with the comments regarding a relative lack of power. Specifically, the boat has a poor hole-shot and takes a really long time to get on plane. This is not a problem for cruising and tube-pulling, but if you're looking to do some slalom, you may be disappointed.

Dave made it incredibly easy to rent the boat, and get out on the lake in a timely manner. The boat was in great condition, and had no mechanical issues. Although it lacks a certain amount of power for towing someone (adult) on a wake board, I would highly recommend this boat for cruising the lake.

Great boat, runs well, we had a good time. Easy to control. Right on the dock of the house we rented, super convenient. Dave gave a run down before we took off. Boat was clean and comfortable! Sound system was good too! Thank you! We’ll be back!

Easy instructions and easy boat to enjoy on the lake.

Boat reservation and experience worked as intended. Was able to cruise the upper end of the lake and the breadth of that shoreline on less than half a tank of gas. Owners very hospitable.

This boat was a great boat! We enjoyed using it and would recommend it to anyone staying on the lake. We cruised to Sandpoint & tied off to the public dock. We walked around town & got a coffee! We then checked out all of the amazing water front homes around the lake and saw a bald eagle too! We took a trip to Hope and had a yummy lunch at the floating restaurant! Thank you for having a great boat on your dock! This was really fun & convenient!

Was a fantastic experience to operate a boat on this lake in Idaho. Enjoying the beautiful homes and mountains around the lake were best viewed by water. The boat was in excellent condition and well maintained. This is a pleasure boat and not good for fishing. I must admit the lake beat me in the fishing department. I put in about 3000 casts and never caught a fish!! Thx Dave for a great trip!!

We rented Dave's boat for our stay at their lakeside retreat. It was very convenient and a smooth process. The boat was roomy and comfortable for my family of 5 and it offered enough pep for us to tow our kids on a tube and wakeboard. Boat was the only way we traveled during our stay at the lake and we are missing it already.

Some wind and rain came in and Dave was an amazing host and had offered to edit or cancel the reservation. The storm had past shortly after and we had a great time putting along the shoreline viewing the amazing lake, shoreline and houses. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed renting Dave and Lee’s bayliner. The boat was clean, easy to drive, and fun to operate. Navigational and operational instructions were conveniently provided onboard as well as safety flotation devices and signaling equipment.
