The captain was amazing. The boat was average. The refrigerator wasn’t working so none of our stuff was cold. Had 12 people on this boat and it was tight- the front of the boat didn’t have any seating.

The boat claimed capacity for 12, but there were not enough spots for 11 to sit while we were traveling to the playpen.

Amazing boat and charter experience! Sommy was easy to communicate and coordinate with before the tour and the process for getting a captain was super simple. Very nice boat with some cool amenities like a multi-speaker sound system throughout and a refrigerator. Booked this charter with a group of friends for a birthday celebration and had a blast! Highly recommended!

10/10!!! I booked two boats (since we had 16 girls) for my sis in law’s bachelorette and it could not have gone smoother. I was so worried about logistics but KMB provided such clear instruction and answered all of my questions before boat day. We were able to tell them exactly where we wanted to go (which consisted of making our way to the playpen with photo opps along the way). Shoutout to Captains Corey and Kevin. It was the best experience, thank you KMB!!! We will be booking with you again!

Really had a wonderful time!!! Boat could have been a bit cleaner, lots of stains/marks on walls and stairs. Spider webs in cabin and refrigerator was disgusting. Overall Captain was good vibes and the experience was a 10/10. Boat was very spacious and lots of places for guest to chill.

The experience was great overall. We had a bit of a hiccup with the power not working but the Captain got it fixed right away. It was also really humid in the lower part of the boat but overall a great time. All my friends loved it. I can’t wait to do it again!

I can’t say enough great things about Knot My Boat Charters. They absolutely saved the day for me during Black Yacht Weekend in Chicago. I had a last-minute cancellation from another company—less than 24 hours before my scheduled reservation—and with less than 8 hours’ notice, Knot My Boat stepped in and completely turned things around.

We had an excellent time with captain Zietlow. He gave us several route options and made sure we felt safe at all times. Sommy was also very helpful and answered all of my questions quickly. 10/10 experience! Keep in mind when booking that boatsetter gives you an incorrect estimate for the captain fee which could really mess things up if you plan on splitting the total. Captains are usually $100/hr + gratuity (15-20% of the charter) so plan accordingly. Other than that, it was an amazing time!

The trip I booked with Sommy was awesome! We had such a great time for my birthday. There were a few hiccups as far as response timing with Sommy but all of my questions were answered. The captain I originally booked accidentally overbooked himself but connected me to a new captain that same day so we were ready to go. Everyone that I dealt with as far as my trip was very attentive and polite. The boat was the perfect size for my group and we all had such a great time. Thanks!

Initially was a bit frustrated with the process because the booking seemed to include the captain fee, but really the captain fee was just an estimate (which turned out to be much lower than the real cost) and I had to go book a captain and pay him separately.

The boat itself was in great condition and all in all was definitely worth the price paid.

Working with Knot My Boat charters was a wonderful experience, specifically due to Captain Dennis P. and his deckhand Anna. It was a little choppy due to the weather but they found some beautiful views of Chicago in a couple harbors. My only criticism of the business was the front office who decided after we signed up that clients needed solicit all of the captains. This was not only an inconvenience for us, but the captains too. Still, great five-star experience and we’ll use Denis and Anna again if we book a charter.
