Great experience with relaxing time.

The boat was great. No issue there.
The issue is that I was charged an additional $140 for taxes, insurance, and gas at the marina when I picked up the boat. I had already paid the taxes and insurance as part of the booking fee with Boatsetter. As far as the gas, I understood that I was responsible to pay for the gas I used during the rental, however I was charged an undisclosed price per gallon for an undisclosed amount of gas. As I spent most of the day docked at a sandbar, I’d be shocked if I used more than a few gallons of gas total.

Easy and quick pickup . Wasn’t told I’d have to pay another $67 to pickup the boat. seems a lot for just gas but maybe includes insurance? Would be good to disclose that on boatsetter

Great experience with the family, the crew was very helpful making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend bringing a cooler though because the one they supplied was tiny. The boat ran great, would’ve been nice if the radio worked but the guys gave me a Bluetooth speaker that did the trick. Spent the whole day in the water with my family and everyone loved it...we’ll be back!

The boat was clean, in good shape, plenty of room for our party of 5. David provided us with ice. Captain Matt was very patient and did all he could to accommodate our requests.

This boat holds 10 people. I would not put any more on it. The pictures that you see online are when the boat was new in 2019. I has been quite damaged on the outside since in that time. Inside the boat was fine. There were no garbage bags, but they did bring us one when we returned. Staff scolded us for being 45 minutes late. We were 10 minutes past our time. Third pontoon made it very stable, along with a good running 150 hp motor.

Overall disappointing, especially given the stark contrast between the advertised boat quality in the photos and the reality of what I received. The seemingly unreasonable initial rental prices and significantly inflated the overall cost, with the discrepancy in boat conditions was glaring. There was a gas leak, within 1 hour of taking the boat out which was reported to the Coast Guard. Contact number on account is not owner.

David was easy to deal with. Responsive and open. Price and quality of boat were good too. They also gave us child PFDs. Worth the spend.

Fuel charge of $60 was unfair. Fuel charge per his competitors should be $10 tops. No bathrooms to have that last break before sailing away. They also charged an additional $20 cleaning fee which was not disclosed upfront.

Worth it, if David’s starts being upfront with such charges.

Wonderful experience on first time booking through BoatSetter. Advertised price is not the FINAL price. In the future, do not book through BoatSetter. Suggests booking with the owner directly. BoatSetter charges a service and fees but they provide 0 added value. You’re just throwing money away..The owner charged me an extra $100 for gas and it was not not on the ad. When I contacted BoatSetter, their actual response was that’s they are unable to help. Even though I booked through BoatSetter, their position was it’s an agreement between me and the boat owner. Do not use BoatSetter on future rentals!

Easy to reserve online. A prompt reply from the boat’s owner, David. The boat was clean, fueled up and after some quick instructions we were ready to go enjoy a GREAT day on the waterways of Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend.

Everything went smoothly from booking the boat with David to us having great 4 hours on the boat. We requested to have a captain and Gus was great, we felt safe with him. There were no hidden fees in the end.

Couldn’t ask for a better day on the ocean. Everything was fantastic. Boat was plenty big enough for us 6 ladies to enjoy. Tony was Great took us out and about showed us the town. Tony accommodated us in every way possible. He definitely loves his job!!!
