Jean Paul was great. Boat was fine, just as pictured. Kids loved the Lilly pad.

The boat we reserved was having problems. So he had a different boat a 2020 Hurricane. It was a decent boat the seats kept sliding off but other than that it was great. It was a surprise that he got us a different boat. Pual was great to work with and his guy that loaded us up and cast us off was also nice to work with. Over all a great time!

This was my first time using Boatsetter and I was extremely disappointed. After I made my booking I attempted to communicate with the boat owner multiple times to coordinate the rental with no response. It was only hours before the booking when he finally responded and not in a pleasant way. This was after we had decided to cancel due to the uncertainty and lack of responsiveness of the owner. I was told I would not be refunded my money. I believe I was scammed by Jean Paul intentionally.

On time, super nice and very helpful with my dad who is disabled and needed assistance getting onto the boat. Some of our party were running late and they offered an extra 30 minutes which was awesome. The only negative was the boat was a bit dirty - quite possibly we were the first on the boat for the season. The seats were very dusty /dirty and had bird droppings which we had to clean off ourselves. Definitely would try again since they were so helpful and responsive.

Jean-Paul’s party boat was incredible. The views of Lake Pleasant were like a post card. Our group was there for a Bach party, and this lake day made the trip even better.

I highly recommend Jean-Paul for your boat rental needs. He was professional, thorough, and attentive.
It was also the nicest pontoon boat we’d ever been on, and even with a group of 12, it didn’t feel crowded. We loved the Bluetooth capability for music, plenty of seating/ storage and the lily pad for floating. We will definitely be renting from Jean-Paul again!

Excellent communication! He arrived early actually and the boat ran great! Zero issues, would book with him again.

Jean-Paul was very punctual, did a walk through with the boat, suggested some good spots on the lake, launched us onto the water, and was punctual with being at the dock to load the boat.

I understand the boat is a rental and isn’t going to be in flawless condition. The seats were torn, the boat was dirty, the sound system was terrible, trim gauge didn’t work, nothing to float on except life jackets, no cooler and had to use the built in cooler which was dirty. For the price not worth it.

Right off the bat i liked Captain Jean Paul , communicating with him prior to our boat trip was easy gave simple instructions for the meet up at Pleasant Bay . I was with my Girl friend and my two daughters and he was a total gentleman , friendly made it feel like i had known him forever we were all laughing having a great time . I would recommend JP 100 out of 100 times , hes a natural on the water and a great guy 👍

This experience was awesome. JP and his team were amazing! They were accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great people! Very friendly! This was the type of service anyone would want for their family!

Jean-Paul adjusted our time which we accepted for an hour less due to prior commitments, JP did not return any of our money as agreed upon. His brother Ethen showed up with a boat that did not at all resemble the boat that we rented online. Outboard motor rather than inboard, pontoon, rather than TriToon, pretty beat up old boat…

We did enjoy our day on the water, but I would 100% proceed with caution when dealing with Jean-Paul…

I highly recommend this boat and owner. The communication was perfect. We spent 8 hours at lake pleasant with 4 kids and 2 adults. We used the tube and the wakeboard. It was a perfect day!

The boat was amazing! The perfect size for our group of 11.

Was a little hesitant booking…however everything was so well executed. We came for my cousins bachelorette and it was such a great time! We had the captain Justin and he made the experience that much more fun. He let us take over aux and he offered to take the 100s of photos we all wanted. The boat itself had a slide and a place to jump off. If you’re thinking of booking DO IT! Best part of the trip 100%. If I could give 10 stars I would.

The meet up was simple and easy. It was our first time using Boatsetter. 2 hiccups though first in a cove the boat battery died. Thankfully our captain figured it out. For a moment we thought we were going to have to get towed out! Smooth sailing after that. we paid $100 extra for a “very nice & large” Lilly pad but we didn’t get that. They said it got ruined by renters that weekend. Should have told us ahead and refunded the $100. Was totally ripped and kids didn’t use. Would rent again.

Our trip was so easy from start to finish! Ethan was prompt, the boat was clean and we experienced no mechanical issues at all. Had a great day on the lake, and then Ethan picked it up at our scheduled time, and home we went. So easy. Will definitely do again.

Wow! We had such a great time on the lake today, hugely thanks to our experience renting from Jean-Paul. He was very accommodating, patient, and offered lots of guidance and recommendations, and even made a bathroom pit stop for our group before he let us out onto the water. Would 10/10 recommend!
