Beautiful, well-kept sailboat that was perfect for a 3-hour sunset sail on the Long Island Sound. Good room for 6 adults with a little table for snacks.

Beautiful sail boat with a great history; comfortable for six!

The boat was super clean and a lot of fun! We went out for my wife’s birthday and it was the perfect experience. We brought our own food and drink and enjoyed the open sea! Would recommend this to anyone 100%!

What a day! We had a ladies’ sail with captain Phil and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The weather was amazing! The boat, Alcor, was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. She sailed so well!

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful sunset sail with Captain Phil on the ALCOR. The boat was comfortable for 6 of us, including my 90 year old father! Captain Phil had a wealth of knowledge about the boat itself, sailing in general, and even the history of the islands we passed by. He was very accommodating and even let a few of us help out with the sailing. We were able to bring our own snacks and drinks. Was a ton of fun and would absolutely recommend Captain Phil and the ALCOR!

Captain Phillip was friendly and a great guide on our trip! We would highly recommend booking with him and we plan to do another sail with him soon!

Awesome captain and guide

An absolute gentleman. I can’t imagine him having a bad time with anyone. First and foremost for him safety. Second is that you have a good time. He also lets you participate in sailing the boat as much as you are capable and want. He has a class act. .

Philip was fantastic. He is an expert sailer who was able to recommend where to go based on the weather. He's very knowledgeable about the area as well and provided many interesting facts about the various islands and local history.

Oh can’t say enough about Captain!! He is so kind, so knowledgeable & he made the trip even more special. It felt like we had known him for years. We are definitely going to book him again!

And old school fully keeled Yawl. Beautifully maintained and impeccably run. Philip has the boat dialed in. The sweat equity he has in the boat is evident.

We had a wonderful afternoon sailing with Captain Phil and Katie. The boat was lovely and we had a beautiful afternoon sailing. We especially appreciated how kind and enthusiastic Phil and Katie were with our children. Our kids learned lots about sailing and were welcomed to join in sailing the Alcor. We loved the experience!

Captain Phil prioritized our safety and comfort. He allowed us to participate with sailing as much as we wanted but always kept a watch to make sure all was well. He had great stories about sailing and the local communities on the Connecticut shore. Hope we sail again.

The ALCOR has a fascinating history. It can out sail some of its larger and dare I say fancier counterparts. Definitely worth some time behind the helm!
