About Capt. Chad
“I always get asked, “Where did the business name come from?” Well, “Buck” is my late grandfather, and “Roger” is my daddy. Both of these men taught me the love of fishing so they will be with me always! From the name, this business is built on family. I was born and raised in North Florida and have fished the Jacksonville waters since I was a child. A little about me: I’ve spent over 24 years as a local law enforcement officer. I recently retired as a Lieutenant with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office; I know first hand the demand on our First Responders and Military members which is why I offer a First Responder/Military Discount for my brothers and sisters in uniform!! We also offer discounts for teachers and medical staff. I have several great Captain’s, a few of which are also first responders, who are professional and very child friendly. We will take great care of you and do our best to show you a memorable day on the water. We are very family-friendly, and welcome anglers of all skill levels, including children of all ages, to enjoy a day on the water. ”

Awesome day fishing off Jacksonville, FL! Capt. Chad was a clear communicator and easy to work with for our group, which was great since we were 8 anglers. We booked 2 boats with Buck Roger Charters for our larger group of anglers and it worked out very well. Group caught lots of fish, plus some big sharks! Super cool, would definitely recommend the experience. Thanks, Capt!

Captain D put the work in to get us on the fish. I appreciate his effort and patience with us. 6 hr trip and we were in the water for a good amount of time minus travel time. Clean boat and good tackle.

Great day fishing! Capt. Chad of Buck Roger Charters was easy to work with, detail oriented, and happy to help our group.
