Had a great half day on the lake aboard Derek’s jet boat. Initially, we took out a surf board and had no luck. Derek’s crew was quick to meet us and swap it out for a tube. The rental process was seamless and on time. Would definitely rent from him/them again!

Better rental vs. Marina because fuel included, 10 person limit instead of 8, easier loading at Hwy 66 Ramp, permitted access to Party Cove, and this Avalon pontoon, in particular, is especially well configured, comfortable and has a Mercury 150, so great for towing...or outrunning a storm.

We rented this boat for a divorce party on Lake Ray Hubbard, and it was honestly one of the best days we’ve had in a long time. There were seven of us onboard, plus a huge cooler, a pile of bags, and absolutely no shortage of good vibes. The Blue Guys were amazing—friendly, responsive, and made the whole rental process super easy. You they care about renters.
The sound system was chef’s kiss—crisp, loud, and perfect for blasting our “freedom” playlist. We also added on the lily pad and a tube.

Derek’s boat is by far the best boat you can rent on Ray Hubbard.

We have rented several from the marina and nothing has been this nice. Our rental was captained by Captain Mitchell and he couldn’t have been more accommodating, he answered all of our questions and got all of us up on the surf board!

The cooler was the best add on, it was large and we didn’t have to worry about hauling anything around.

We wish we had brought more cash to tip Cap Mitch. We’ll be back!

Boat was amazing - clean and lots of room. We had 2 adults and 9 kids - all had plenty of room and enjoyed the day. The kids wakeboarded, tubed and knee boarded - can't wait to do it again.

Derek was very nice and was waiting for us when we arrived. We had good communication and we felt at ease from the beginning to the end. He showed us how to operate the boat clearly and what areas were good to explore. We received excellent service along with a super clean and comfortable boat. We had fun on the water and upon returning to the dock, Derek guided us in with patience. The dock area is clean and clear. It was a pleasant and stress-free experience. We will be a repeat customer.

We had an awesome time on the boat. Unfortunately we did lose our security deposit, Derek warned us to watch the rope and make sure make sure it didn’t get caught in the intake; however that’s exactly what ended up happening as we were docking the boat. We think our three year old threw the rope back in the water thinking she was helping. Derek was really understanding of the situation and explained what he had to done to get it fixed.

My family had a GREAT time on Derek's boat. He was amazing in coaching & providing tips to my adult kids to be able to surf and wake board. My boys and daughter in law were falling initially and having trouble getting out of the water. Within a short time, Derek coaching not only got them up and having fun, they were doing tricks and staying up for long runs on the lake. His boat is top notch quality with an amazing sound system. Derek was so professional and all around great guy.

Initial thought boat looked small but it fit 12, 25 year olds easily. The captain was a nice as can be and we had a great time listening to music through great speakers wake boarding and wake surfing. This team runs a clinic and will be booking again. Awesome pontoon, brand new, Derek arrived early considering there may be a long line to undock, made sure everything from start to finish was hassle free, straight and simple, our family and friends of 9 had a blast! Great communication and made sure everything was easy to operate, and even recommended us few great spots around LRH…!

My friends and I rented this boat for 4 hours with Captain Mitch for my bachelorette party, with tubing and the floating mat. I can’t recommend this boat and extras enough! It’s been one of the best experiences we’ve had. Capt Mitch was very nice, and provided the best service. We were able to bring drinks and snacks on the boat. Speakers were great. Would 100000% recommend.

The boat experience we had with Derek was amazing! When we first got out on the water, Derek introduced the lakefront area with a detailed explanation of the lake since we have never boated in this lake before. This business gave us specific instruction of how to properly operate and maintain their watercraft in a safe manner, all while getting the most experience out of the lake! Rented their boat for 3 hours for 5 adults and 5 kids. Derek was our captain he was a great host. Communication from booking till returning the boat was quick, efficient, we all had a blast. The entire experience was smooth and fun. We rented the cooler with 2 ice bags, the floating pad and the tube and we all took turns on the tubes.

The boat was perfect for us because we were able to bring our 2 fur babies. Not all boats allow pets, so this was a plus. We added the tube to our rental and it was well worth it. The family had a blast tubing! We will definitely rent from Derek again. Next time we’re going to try his speed boat.

Ross was responsive and easy to coordinate with. Very informative on how to stay safe and operate the boat. We had a minor technical difficulty when launching but Ross was able to address and correct swiftly and easily. My only gripe is with the boatsetter web site, where it seems an inquiry (which makes you pick a specific date and time before you ask a question) does not create a reservation. The web site allowed another customer to book the time slot I selected and I learned (one day before our reservation) that I had no reservation.

Aside from that, it was great. Derek was very punctual and supportive. The boat was exactly as advertised, and the family had a great day on the water. I would do it again.

What a great afternoon we had on Derek's boat. He was awesome and everything went so smoothly, except for the choppy water we hit later in the afternoon, but that's a big lake for you. Super nice boat! Plenty of space for our party of 9, our stuff, plus captain Mitch. These guys offer loads of great water activities and equipment to rent with this boat. If we return to the area we will for sure be using this group again. Definitely the highlight of our weekend.

We had a great day on Lake Ray Hubbard. Derek was easy to work with. They launched the boat for us and helped us load up. We drove all around the lake, enjoyed the sunset, and even saw a rainbow. Overall a great day!

This was a surprise for my husband's milestone birthday! I was so grateful that it all worked out without a glitch! Derek communicated with me ahead of time and was at the dock with the boat at the agreed time. The boat was perfect and so was the 3-hour ride! Our family loved riding on the tube we rented! Our daughter wants to buy a pontoon boat now - LOL!

Derek was great! Boat was awesome. We will definitely rent here again!!! He was on time and had everything ready. Transactions were super easy. He is very quick responding to questions. Couldn’t have gone better!!!!

We had a wonderful day on the lake. Derek was very accommodating as we went to the wrong location originally. He had the boat brought to the Harbor side and worked with us on the schedule. The boat itself is very clean and comfortably seats 10 people. Cruised the lake and then relaxed in the cove. We used the Lilly pad in the cove and that was a huge hit. Thanks for the outstanding service, it was such a fun day!!

Derek and his crew were great, very quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed! Had a great full day on the lake, our girls had a blast doing all the things- wakeboard, surf and tubed. Definitely recommend!

Derek was easy to work with. He communicated consistently and was prompt when we arrived before our appointment. Instructions on operating his boat were clear and left no room for confusion. Derek wasn’t uptight about what we could do on the water and was flexible on the return timeframe. His boat was clean and operated perfectly. Worth the expense for the experience both on the water and with Derek.

Derek has a beautiful new boat that was perfect for my daughter's birthday party. They had a floating pad, surfboard, wakeboards, and tube and life jackets. The sound system was amazing and it made for a great day.

Epic brand new wake boat. Lots of seating, room for huge yeti and threw an awesome wake. Would book this again no questions.

Our captain Mitch was awesome! Super knowledgeable if you are new to wakeboarding or wake surfing. The boat was very nice and had more than enough room to accommodate our whole group. I plan on renting this boat out again for sure!

Derek was a fantastic boat host.

1) His boat is awesome. Super clean, easy to handle, and it's a ton of fun. If you're looking for something with a little more zip than a pontoon boat, this Yamaha is great.

2) We had some issues loading the Boatsetter app in the parking lot/meeting spot... as we began to panic, Derek walked up to us in the parking lot to help us out... he is very helpful, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time.

Highly recommend!!!!! Derek was very accommodating, this was our second trip on this boat and we plan to rent again one day. The boat was very clean, he made sure we knew of all safety measures, the lily pad & tube were amazing additions. Our family of eight adults enjoyed a wonderful day on the water. 

Boat was in excellent condition. Loved the large JBL speakers. But the real winners were Derek and his team. They made everything so easy. Highly recommend renting from Derek!
