Had a very enjoyable day on the Chesapeake. We were provided with clearly written documentation and found everything in its place. The boat was clean and neat and it was fairly easy to get out of the slip and head down the river. The Garmin chart plotter worked very well and clearly showed the depth. No difficulties setting sail and the boat handled well in the light winds. Getting back to the marina and into the slip was straightforward also. I would recommend.

Jonathan was very easy to communicate with and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Everything on the boat was in good condition and we had a great time. We had some nice wind and the boat was perfect for it. I highly recommend it.

Boat is in good conditions, Jonathan is a good communicator and quick to respond. Having to go with the Captain for the first time really helped us due to boat particulars and understanding how to navigate in unfamiliar area.

Jonathan made everything easy. The boat was well-kept, simple to get the motor going and set sail, and the calm, protected harbor made docking stress-free.

Had an excellent time on Windsnap! The marina and slip are a little tricky to get in and out of, but it should be no problem for experienced sailors.

The boat is by no means fancy, but a good value for the price. Johnathan was very helpful and kept in touch all day via text.

Greatly enjoyed our time on the water on the Grampian 26 Keel! Jonathan was very friendly and takes great pride in his boat. We had an easy 40min motor out of the marina area into the Chesapeake Bay for a nice sailing day. Would book with Jonathan again!

This is a great boat for solid sailing. We had her out all day in 10+ mph winds with gusts of 20 and she sailed across the bay as steady as a boat her size (or even bigger) could be. She has roller furling jib with main halyard rigged to the cockpit, plus a new outboard with electric start and power tilt, so getting under way and switching between power and sail is convenient. She is not slick or fancy but is a great value for a day of sailing on the bay, which is really what it's all about.

Terrific boat and location, we had a magnificent day of sailing. The instructions provided were thorough, the boat is in great shape, and the slip location is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this boat, and we'll definitely be back!

We had a great time on the water despite weak winds. Jonathan keeps the Windsnap in very good condition and was available if we needed anything.

My husband and I went sailing with Captain Jonathan to refresh our skills, and it was a wonderful experience. After 35+ years away from sailing, we quickly realized how much we’d forgotten! Jonathan was professional, soft-spoken, patient, and full of great stories. He gave us excellent instruction and made the day both fun and educational. We highly recommend him for anyone wanting to learn or get back on the water!  

Great sail and boat!

We enjoyed a half day. Boat was in need of a clean and on the older side-but we had wind and enjoyed. We did get surcharged for gas which felt unecesssary with the price.

Just the right size for our group and day on the river and bay.

This is a great boat for the price. We had four tall people on board and never felt cramped at all. It takes a bit of time to work your way down to the Bay, but it is well worth it. On this run we worked our way north to peek into Annapolis harbor then tacked back home. Great sailing!

The boat was tidy and comfortable. We had a mechanical issue underway, so our time on the water was cut short. Jonathan worked with us as much as he could for a partial refund, which we greatly appreciated.

The vessel was in great condition and sailed like a charm. All equipment and rigging was in perfect working order. Would rent again.

We had a great time on Jonathan's 26' sailboat. From the beginning, things were simple and straightforward. We were provided with all the information needed to become familiar with the boat, and upon arriving found the boat to be well organized and in good working order. The new electric-start motor was a nice perk for a boat of this size!

The area is beautiful, and getting out to the bay is fairly simple. The boat handles well, and Jonathan is very responsive if needed. We recommend!

The boat is well-maintained and located in a perfect quiet cove that is accessible to the Bay. Great day sailing, and will definitely come back, thank you!

I had a great trip and a great time interacting with Jonathan. He was very helpful, flexible, and responsive. Fantastic experience overall. Really enjoyed the boat and the trip.

I'm unable to imagine a more nicely-arranged ship; "Windsnap" is in amazing condition and handles as easily as possible - Our group had a number of beginner passengers, and all helped in sailing, rigging, and mooring.

Keep a keen eye on your handy onboard maps, and obey green/red channel signs - area seemed busy on a Sunday morning. Many nice places to go see.

I hope I can schedule again on some breezier days - the reliable Suzuki engine helped us make up our 2knot gradual pace during sailing.

Jonathan was very thorough at letting us know exactly what to expect as far as getting everything up and running. Sailing conditions were great and we had a wonderful trip! Would book again in a heartbeat!

Another great day on the water! This is our second time out on Windsnap, sailing un-captained this time. Everything was clean and ready for us, Jonathan’s instructions (and weather advice!) were very clear and helpful. Hope to go out again before the end of the summer!

The boat is kept at a small, quiet marina with easy parking, bathrooms, showers and ice. The boat has many miles under her, but is in excellent shape and quite easy and pleasurable to sail. The slip is easy to get in and out of, and it is about a 20 minute motor to get out into the Chesapeake to raise sails. We found everything as described by Jonathan, and had a lovely sail. Will repeat!
