George was awesome and we appreciate how flexible he was! We had a great time on the boat!

I booked George’s boat last minute for the entire day (less than 24 hours before launch), and he delivered an amazing experience. He responded immediately, asked what we were looking for in our trip, and because of that my group of six had an unforgettable outing. I cannot recommend or thank him enough! Such an easy location to get to from the city, such a hassle free and chill day due to George’s expertise and hosting skills. The boat is gorgeous, there’s so much room below for food and drink storage, and two bathrooms below deck. Overall could not have been happier with the entire experience and will definitely be booking him again.

My wife, myself, and another couple had a really nice, relaxed afternoon sailing and motoring with George in his Hunter 40. We saw dozens of dolphins and lots of fish schools. Beautiful views of Manhattan and Brooklyn, northern NJ, barrier islands, and Staten Island. I liked seeing the lighthouses and channel markers close, the big ships. The Hunter 40 is a nice older boat in good condition and George handles the boat well. George is very knowledgeable about the geography and history of the region. We enjoyed chatting and learning from him and would be happy to do another cruise with him.

George is a phenomenal host. From the first greeting he lit us up. He is humorous and able to roll really well with the conversation, as well as professional and knowledgeable about sea sickness, safety, sailing (we had a windy day), and pointing out landmarks of interest. We were able to bring our own food and beverages (there’s an ice chest), chill below and above, play music, take awesome photos, find a swim spot to jump in the water, and enjoy a beautiful sunset with Coney Island in the backdrop. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience! George is a wonderful host. He accommodated my last minute booking and made us feel very comfortable throughout the trip. The boat was well maintained and a delight to be on. I highly recommend this if you are planning a relaxed day or a celebration. Making memories truly lives up to it’s name!

We did a half day sail and swimming. Everything from coordinating with George to booking the trip to being on the water was seamless. The booking request was last minute and George was able to accommodate. It was my friends first time sailing and even though the weather kicked up, George made us feel at ease. Making Memories is fantastic and would book with George again.
