Family Affair is a beautiful yacht with plenty of room to enjoy a cruise. There are 3 separate sitting areas on the boat (2 outside and 1 inside), which makes it feel even larger! It is so well cared for, which you can see in every part of the ship. If you are looking for an afternoon or sunset cruise, this is it!

Absolutely amazing! These two are some of the best hosts I could imagine. They made us lunch and cocktails and even adjusted the meal to my dietary preferences! Super accommodating and lovely people.

My Family and Friends had a amazing time with Joy and Chuck. We all fell in love with the Yacht and it felt so free being on the water. Joy was amazing host and Chuck was a very skilled Captain.
We can’t wait for our next voyage and highly recommend the experience.

Chuck was friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable about San Diego. Joy was very fun & attentive during our cruise and we all enjoyed spending the afternoon with them. Our time on the bay could have no gone better! Oh ya,

We had an amazing time on Joy’s boat! She was a fantastic host and provided everything we needed. Great tour around the bay and fun activities included such as paddle boarding. The food was delicious and the margaritas were THE BEST! This outing was the highlight of our trip - 10/10 would recommend!

Chuck & Joy were great hosts. Chuck was great keeping my sisters entertained. Joy made us a delicious lunch and we sat on not to far from Coronado bridge which was a beautiful view. This brought back a lot of good memories. I would 100% love to ride on their boat again. Thank you once again, Chuck & Joy for such a great time!! My sisters, really enjoyed it, you made their day!

Wonderful time! The boat was in amazing condition. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the area. Joy provided a lovely light meal of bagels, with fresh avocado, tomato, lox, and beverages.

We booked a sunset cruise around San Diego Harbor and around Coronado Island to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The boat was beautiful, the views were breathtaking, and sharing the evening with our daughter and her husband made it even more special. Chuck and Joy were fantastic—warm, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. From the golden hour light on the water to the city skyline at dusk, it was a magical experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommend

We had an amazing time celebrating our twins’ 14th birthday with Joy and Chuck. The yacht was beautiful, spacious and immaculate clean. Big kitchen and cozy dining area. Plenty of great sitting areas to enjoy the views on the upper deck as well as on the lower deck. Would have loved to spend the night.

Our Wine and Cheese Cruise was an absolutely astounding experience. The day was simply perfect for spending quality time with friends out on the water. Captain Chuck gave us a tour of San Diego, Coronado, and Point Loma, where we witnessed the cutest sea lions. Afterward, we headed to a secluded spot in tranquil waters and indulged in paddle boarding and swimming. Joy provided an exceptional Charcuterie board with an assortment of cheeses and meats. We each brought a bottle of wine.

We enjoyed a phenomenal time boating for the day on the stunning vessel with Joy and Captain Chuck, and saw so much more of the bay than we anticipated! The boat was perfectly appointed, clean and wonderfully kept. Joy was so incredibly kind enough to even go so far to prepare a vegan dish for us (truly one of the best pasta salads I’ve had in a long time). We spent hours paddle-boarding in a tranquil private bay and saw a family of sea lions up close, it was an unforgettable day!

Amazing energy, the environment was great. They made my girlfriend’s birthday party something to remember. 100% recommend.

Our rental on this boat was a wonderful experience. Visitors to SD should include a trip on the bay to get the full southern CA experience, and this boat is first class. Locals who have not been on the bay are missing out until they do. Clean and well maintained, this vessel has everything you need for a memorable trip on the bay. Add to that a some wonderful snacks, and if you wish to partake, one of Joy's famous margaritas, you'll be wondering why you did not plan this trip sooner!

Our boat ride with Joy and Chuck was phenomenal. They were very accommodating to us in order to make sure we had as smooth and enjoyable of a ride as possible.

We had such a fun day aboard the family affair! It was a beautiful boat, perfect for our group of 6. We cruised along the San Diego Bay and then anchored in a private cove where we went swimming and paddle boarding. Joy and Chuck were great hosts, so nice and welcoming. We brought our own food and drinks, but they also made us delicious margaritas and a charcuterie board. They made sure we were well hydrated and our bellies were full throughout the day! Would highly recommend!
