Great boat and great day!

The boat was in tip top shape. 9th Street station is a good place to get on the boat as it has a nice dock. Also convenient to get out into the harbor. We had 5 people on the boat. Plenty of room.

Kevin is great to deal with. Meeting up with him was an easy process, communication was fantastic, and the boat was as advertised. We had an awesome day.

Boat was exactly as advertised. Address listed in posting was incorrect for boat pick up. Rental was from 1300-1700; owner showed up at 1300; didn’t get in the boat till 1315. Boat was chartered for 8 passengers; there were only 7 life jackets provided. Blue tooth Radio in boat didn’t work. We did have a great time on the water

Kevin was initially very quick at responding as well as very easy to work with. Our group being frequent Boatsetter users, we have never had an issue. On this trip specifically, there was an issue with the motor that the owner and I specifically spoke about on later to find out that he told boatsetter about another problem that he never spoke to me about. It’s been almost 2 months and I have not heard from the owner after reaching out numerous times and boatsetter is saying that insurance is taking a long time. Meanwhile, the boat has been available for rent EVERY weekend after we used it. I don’t want to speak ill about anyone, but I would THOROUGHLY document the boat before and after your trip so that you don’t get into this situation. The whole thing seems fishy (no pun intended) and I will be continually following up on the situation.

Spent a weekend in the greater Charleston area. Kevin was wonderful! Friendly, polite and professional. He was on time and had us set up quickly (we opted not to hire a captain). He even graciously shared local knowledge of a few good routes, destinations and how to manage tricky spots at low tide. His boat was clean and ran beautifully. We had a great day on the water. I’d highly recommend recommend renting his boat.
