Captain Steve

Captain Steve did a great job driving us out near the Annapolis harbor for a family friendly 4th of July event. He pulled us up 100s of feet from the barge that shot the fireworks off. We had a beautiful view of Annapolis as the sun went down and the fireworks were amazing. The boat itself was clean and a great space for entertaining all the guests. Would rent again for future functions.

Captain Steve and his wife were great! They were on time, easy to work with, and brought the boat back in perfect condition! Would happily work with them again!

Captain Steve and his crew (his father and mother) was great! Everything about our day on the water in the Sea Spirit was wonderful! Our group of 34 women had a lovely afternoon, with our lunch and beverages that we had brought with us. They could have provided or coordinated the food and drinks for us, but we wanted to bring everything ourselves.
Boat was clean and comfortable. Loved the upper deck and the main deck. Our group sort of split up, but many went up or down, throughout the trip. There was a bit of a problem, in that the generator was broken so we had no A/C on the maindeck, so it was quite warm, even with the nice breeze. Also the CD player wasnt working so although the provided music turned out to be fine, we had planned to play our own music.
The trip overall was lovely! Captain Steve was also accommodating when our numbers were unconfirmed until the week before. More so than Boatsetter who wanted to hold us to the "30 days before" requirement, until Captain Steve explained that that was our plan with them from the beginning.
Just a point of information. The site says the joat can handle up to 85. I wouldnt want more than 40 or 45. This is particularly so, since there is a maximum of 18 allowed on the upperdeck.
I would definitely charter this boat with this captain again!
Like every situation, make sure everything is clear and in writing before you sign.

We had a great time on the boat. We paid for a completely open bar but they ran out of certain items while we were still on board, which wasn't a big deal but ultimately we wished they had everything. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodated our rowdy group of guys with ease. This was a very easy trip that we'd absolutely take again and again. Thank you Captain Steve!

Captain Steve and his entire crew made our day watching the Blue Angels a fantastic experience. We were in town for Commissioning week at the Naval Academy . Our son and his friends and their families joined us for a fantastic time. We had a few things come up prior to the day and Captain Steve was very accommodating. Thank you again to Captain Steve and his crew for a great time and I would give my highest recommendation.

Everything about our experience was great! We were booking last minute but the boatsetter website helped us, Chesapeake nautical cruises helped us, and above all, Captain Steve and his crew helped us. Our time onboard was amazing! We had no issues, got great service, and would recommend it to anyone looking to share a special experience with friends, family, and coworkers.

I had a ball with captain Steve and his crew. They were very clean, professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. My sister had a ball for her 50th Birthday. Thank you, Captain Steve and crew, our small company has used your service and for a few years, then paused during COVID. We started back up this summer and had a few new employees (first timers) and feedback was they had the best time. We included employee’s children this year (1st time) and as 1 youngster told her dad, she had more fun on the “boat” then intheir own house.
Thanks crew member Tony, who help push a car to parking space for one of our employees whose car had broken down.

Our captain was Caleb and he was fantastic! He made it a great, stress-free day on the lake.

We had a wonderful time on Captain Steve’s boat. It had everything we needed for a couple hours on the water with our family on Father’s Day weekend. All 5 of us could fit on the seat in the front of the boat to enjoy the views. There was a small bathroom, kitchen, and sitting area for a break from the sun. Captain Steve was a great host and we would definitely rent his boat again!
