My friends and I had such a blast on the boat. Was so easy to work with Captain James. They came to the boat prior to our departure to explain everything and to make sure we have a great time. Great family charter aboard the Sundancer. Captain James is easy to work with, has good follow thru and is extremely accommodating! In fact, our first booking was a rain-out and he quickly pivoted and allowed us to select a new date. We couldn't have been happier with our revised date; the weather was perfect, the boat is spotless, plenty of room to move about. I would highly recommend Captain James and Captain Harry a great team!

This was my first time renting, and James was available to answer questions every step of the way. The boat was amazing and is equipped with everything you need for a great time. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality Captain James! The water was a little rough but Capt Grant knew what he was doing! I definitely suggest doing the playpen. I wish some of the expenses were more clear in the beginning but other than that it was a success! Everyone on the Bachelorette trip had so much fun!! Cheers & until next time! :))

What an amazing experience from start to fabulous finish! Captain James and team took care of all details from parking to safety to delivering a boat that everyone would love! During the crazy coronavirus time, Capt James and his team practiced EVERY CDC, Illinois and Chicago safety practice - when we got to the boat, it was clean and perfect. We instantly were comfortable and as we pulled out of the marina, we escaped the crazy time, and had a wonder afternoon. Thank you!

We had the best experience. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side it didn’t matter. The boat was impeccable, freshly cleaned when we showed up. Plenty of room for a large group with all the necessities. Also highly recommend Captain Cortney to charter your trip!

Captain James went above and beyond helping me get this charter set up. The boat was very nice and extremely clean. Our group of 8 had plenty of room and enjoyed our day on the water.

I don't even think the word incredible can encompass how great of an experience my guests and I had. Captain James and his wife, Shawn, were beyond welcoming, accommodating, and went above and beyond. Captain Mark, our driver, was also so fun, and took us on a tour and then anchored the boat at the playpen for us to swim. This was my first time booking through boatsetter, and I will definitely be booking with Captain James again. The boat was clean, sanitized, and spacious enough for my 8 guests to have a fun day on the water. Save yourself the time, and just book with Captain James, you will not regret it. I will mention, parking at the harbor was closed on our boat day, so I wish we arrived a bit earlier for the slight walk/parking changes.

The boat owners take excellent care of the boat and their charter guests. We loved the boat! Our captain Cortney Scott was fantastic - he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a safe and fun time. It was the best charter experience I have had in Chicago!

The boat was perfect, and James was very accomodating. Our situation was a bit of a weird one and he able to come through for us on very short notice. We had a boat booked previously with a different vendor and the day before our reservation, without notice, our reservation was cancelled. After looking for a bit we found James' boat and after reaching out, he was very understanding and we were able to get everything booked and ready to go for our original reservation time and date.
The next day, the boat was spotless and ready to go. James had everything ready for us and we could not have had a better day.

We had a perfect experience on this boat. Everything was set up for us and the boat was very clean. Captain Dan was exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed. We even extended for an extra hour.

The boat is in excellent condition and the owner, Captain James, is very nice. We also had a Captain Mark that was a lot of fun. We cruised the river and rode back to the dock in the dark. It was a fantastic experience.

Clean, awesome boat; kind, communicative owners; fantastic captain (we had Captain Dan). Our weather was unexpectedly terrible for our trip but we still had a great time. Captain Dan assured us we were safe on the choppy waters and then anchored us in Monroe Harbor for an afternoon of fun. Chilly, wet fun but fun nonetheless. I'd definitely rent from Captain James and use Captain Dan again.

The boat looked better in person than even on the picture! It was a seamless process from the booking to arriving on the boat. The boat owner responds promptly to any questions; I was positively surprised by the quick response time. I would most definitely be chartering a boat with them again.

We had a great time on this boat for my friend's bachelorette! Captain James was friendly and great to communicate with! The boat fit all 11 of us and our supplies really comfortably and was a great fit. We spent time sunbathing on the top as well as hanging out on the couches in the back, and of course, swimming. There was an aux cord to connect to the sound system on the boat so we could connect our music.

Captain James gave us an incredible experience. I will absolutely book again, couldn't have had a better time. The whole process was very easy and made the entire day relaxing and enjoyable.
