Boat was as expected, pretty minimal interior but did the job.
Was not a fan of form the owner made me sign, no communication of that beforehand and seems like everything should be handled through the app. Other than that, good experience.

Oh was extremely helpful and communicative. His boat is a bit dated but still works very well. We had an awesome time touring around lake Washington and lake Union and taking a swim. Highly recommended!

The process of this rental was great . JJ was amazing at communication and making sure we were taken care of . Even with a “boat situation” he took care of us and made sure were were safe . Hopefully Boat-setter will come through with a credit due to our boat 🚤 hiccup :)

boatsetter will charge a security deposit but the owner will charge another security deposit on site. Make sure you have a Venmo account and app on your phone ; otherwise you need to pay cash for security deposit. Otherwise, the experience was smooth as the owner will give you a quick education about how to operate on the boat. You will be needed to sign a piece of paper also. Otherwise, the boat is clean and spacious. 3 hours are sufficient for you to go to SLU and back

Oh was very helpful in instructions on the boat use, and boating in Lake Washington was a blast!

Was caught off-guard about secondary cash security deposit upon pickup, but that's on BOATSETTER for burying that in their CONTRACT, which DISAPPEARS after the rental period; good idea to save a copy for yourself as BOATSETTER will not do that.

We had a wonderful time on the lake and Oh was very friendly and accommodating. The boat was clean and easy to navigate. Thanks again!

The owner was super responsive and made the experience really easy. I would rent from him again. The boat was good for the three of us.

We had a great time on the boat, which was in the condition advertised and made for an enjoyable outing. The only challenges were that the owner arrived 20 minutes late without advance notice and was 10 minutes late for pickup. While we understood fuel costs were our responsibility, we did request and receive a $15 adjustment to account for the delays. While this wouldn’t be my first choice if I were to book again, it didn’t ruin our time and the owner wasn’t difficult given the circumstances.

Super easy pick up and drop off at the dock. Communication was good. Boat was clean and ran great! Would book again. Super easy and quick to refuel at Yarrow Bay Marina (their website has a great picture of how to get to the fuel dock).
