Captain Joe and Ryan were absolutely phenomenal hosts! If we could give them 6 stars we would! We highly recommend them. They helped make our friend’s bachelorette party an absolute blast and even let us extend for an additional hour the day of. Thanks again Captain Joe and Ryan! We’re already looking forward to next time.

Perfect experience!! Captain Joe and Pauley were great! We rented this boat for 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon for my sister's bachelorette party. Captain Joe and Pauley were the best. They made sure we had a great time, we docked in a great location at the playpen, and they even made sure our drinks were replenished while we floated in the water. Our entire group would highly recommend booking with Captain Joe and we will definitely use him again next time we are able to go out on the water. Thank you for such a great time!!

Captain Joe and Patrick were fantastic. My finance, her three friends and myself (5 total) took the boat out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon / evening and it was great. Joe and Patrick were great hosts and a lot of fun! Will definitely look to book them again.

The 8 of us had a great time on the Emerald Isle. From the start, Captain Joe was very responsive to all my emails and the process to rent the boat and firm up details was incredibly easy. We then had an awesome half-day out on the lake with Joe and his son, Mike. Both of them were very friendly and accommodating. Joe steered the boat through choppy waters like a real pro and the boat was very comfortable. We loved the 5-person raft that they blew up for us when we anchored in the Play-Pen by Navy Pier. The coolers with ice and the bluetooth speakers also were great additions. It couldn't have been a more relaxing day out on the water for our girls' weekend. Thank you Captain Joe and Mike!

Joe and his crewmate were lovely. The boat was exactly what I was expecting and they had coolers and ice to keep our things fresh. They went over boat safety in the beginning and everything you needed to know for a safe and fun trip. They were both very polite and stayed to themselves, but were very friendly to chat with if you were so inclined to do so :) Joe was very accommodating with scheduling and was happy to take requests for plans (ie going to anchor and swim rather than go up the river, where to position for the fireworks based on our desires).

The only comment I would make was there was some slight confusion with meeting up. We were instructed to wait at J dock by 6 for pre-loading and instructions, so we did. However they ended up coming in to a temporary arrivals dock and not until after 6:30. It was close by so that wasn't a problem. However they had just come back from an earlier trip that day and so they were out of contact for a while, which had me slightly concerned since they said arrive by 6 and we didn't hear from them until a little after 6:30 (the start time).

Captain Joe was AMAZING! Very responsive, amazing energy, and super fun & kind. The boat was also beautiful and very spacious. The deckhand was attentive & helpful too, which not all boat rentals have. Absolutely booking with Joe again in the future!

Joe and Ryan were absolutely wonderful! They were very responsive to what we wanted to do with our time on the boat (cruise, swim, eat) and extremely friendly. They shared some facts about Chicago and the lake and tended to our needs with a smile. The boat was beautiful with lots of seating in the front, back and in the cabin. We especially liked the round table in back with cushioned seats surrounding it. As a family of five we were comfortable and all agreed we would come back in a heartbeat.

Joe and his first mate, Mike, took us on an excellent trip on his boat this past Saturday. Joe was responsive to questions and accommodating to changes along the way. Additionally, he and Mike were attentive to the group, making sure we had a fun, safe time. The boat was great, exactly as expected, and the perfect size for a day out on the river/lake with a group of 10 guests. We had an awesome time, and hope to rent again from Joe before the end of the summer! Thanks for a great day Joe and Mike!

Had a fantastic 3-hour family outing on the Emerald Isle. Captain Joe and first mate Ryan were very professional.
Sightseeing cruise along the shoreline, and an hour stop in the Playpen for swimming. Would highly recommend
for a group up to 7. We saved big $$ compared to the larger boats that accommodate up to 12 people.

Captain Joe was awesome!!! Before the trip, he was super responsive and answered any and all questions we had prior to the trip. During the trip, everything went very smooth thanks to him. He was very kind and made the day much more enjoyable by being our captain! We will definitely be returning in the future!

Great day on the lake! Captain Joe was a solid, friendly host and facilitated a really fun experience for my group of 6. The boat had everything we needed for a couple hours of swimming and sun. Clear communication from start to finish. That's about all I can ask for when planning a Boat Day!

We had the most perfect boating day with family while celebrating a birthday. For three dreamy hours Ryan spoiled us with his professional and impeccable attention in catering to our needs while Capt. Joe toured us around the lake in this beautiful small yacht and entertained our fancies as well. Thank you Capt. Joe and Ryan! We look forward to doing this again next year :-)))

Everything was on time, and we appreciated the advice on where to go to stay warm since it was slightly cooler that day. We had a nice time with Captain Joe, everything felt very safe and relaxing, and we appreciated Ryan's assistance navigating the boat and helping with beverages.

Captain Joe and Ryan are the best and kindest crew anyone can ask for. Joe is an excellent communicator and is very big on safety. Before our charter took off he was well aware of the weather conditions and made sure my group was aware of them as well. He also addressed all my questions and concerns prior to boarding.

Captain Joe was very accommodating. We had to move around our time a little bit due to weather and he was very responsive. We had a great time out on the water and he made it well worth it, even recommending some of the best sites to see.

He was open, transparent and friendly from the start of the reservation process to when the boat docked back at the marina after a fun lake experience.
