It was a pleasure to spend a full day on the water with Captain Rick and his wonderful vessel. Rick is the perfect host, with great professionalism, care, and patience with all the guests. I highly recommend!

Rick took our family out for almost 8 hours! He was amazing. We have two small children aged 2 and 3, and he planned a treasure hunt for them, and they were SO excited when they found the treasure. He prioritized their comfort and happiness above anything else! The boat is clean and perfect for the family. Rick's personality is awesome and fun! We had plans to go to lunch in Port Washington, but since the kids were getting too hungry, he very comfortably stopped sooner at Rye Playland so we could eat! Rick, you were awesome and we really had the best, most special day ever! Thank you!

Captain Rick is absolutely the best. We were so happy with our first trip we booked a second one and would have booked more if he had the dates available. The children had a blast and loved being on the boat. We sailed, watched a race, stopped to swim, to eat and saw the most amazing sunsets! Book without hesitation. We can’t wait to sail again next year and will be holding dates way way in advance. Thank you again for our amazing trips!

I've spent very many hours tearing around on windsurfing equipment over a period of a dozen-plus years, but I've been wanting to learn to pilot something bigger. This was my first time on a serious sailboat, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Rick is a great host, instructor, captain and guide -- friendly, low-key, knowledgeable, easy-going. He shows a wide-ranging, deep, and confident understanding of his boat and how it responds to the wind, which ranged from fasten-your-seatbelt thrilling to serene on the day we were out. I unhesitatingly recommend Rick to anyone who wants to learn to sail, or just enjoy a fun day on the water aboard an impressive well-equipped boat.

We were on the yacht yesterday for my bachelorette party and it was amazing time. Rick was amazing , so helpful , and a great captain. He made our experience perfect. Amazing experience and beautiful boat. Rick is an amazing captain who doesn't just captain the boat, but also interacts with people as well. Informative and actually knows what he's doing. My wife and I had her pleasure of sailing with him and he even acted as our own personal photographer lol. All in all, we'd sail with Rick again.

Words cannot describe the fun we had this summer with Captain Rick! I booked this trip for my boyfriend, Jon's, 26th birthday and it was the best 8 hrs we spent in 2020 by far. Captain Rick was such a joy to have amongst our group laughing with us and sometimes pranking Jon :) He was easy and carefree to be around. We will be booking more trips with Rick once the season 2021 opens back up for more parties, special events, photoshoots, etc. We can't wait!

My family of eight adults enjoyed a great afternoon and evening with Captain Rick as we sailed the Long Island Sound. Rick was able to accommodate one late arriving passenger which was much appreciated. Rick's easy going demeanor and positive attitude blended in very well with our group.
We brought sandwiches for lunch and planned on grilling for dinner. We were happy see a large refrigerator. When Rick situated the Nirvana for the evening fireworks show he then proceeded to cook our dinner and serve us. Quite unexpected! Glad we brought plenty of food and drink to share with our Captain and Cook!

Top 3 experiences of summer 2021. Captain Rick is the real deal. Look the part? Yep. Knowledge of boat and surrounding area? Of course. Wisdom and dad jokes? Indeed. We swam in the sound for hours and it was exactly what we needed. Rick will work the grill for you so make sure you bring enough food for him as well. Can’t wait to hit the water again with this wonderful man.

Good experience with Rick, friendly guy. You can bring any food and drink onto the boat and enjoy the relax experience on Rick's boat. Great experience to get away from the city.

Wow! Rick was fantastic! We could not have asked for a better Captain. He was knowledgeable, gracious and kind. The vessel was lovely, clean and comfortable. Even though conditions weren’t ideal for sailing, Rick helped make the day entertaining for our family of four. We look forward to hiring Rick again and would refer him to friends in a second!

Rick is top tier! Me and a group of my Millennial black/brown& LGBTQ friends were apprehensive, but Rick was so welcoming and chill. He really held space for us and joined in the fun. 10/10 would book with him again. My ONLY issue was the false pricing/advertising through THE APP. Contact Rick directly to book and pay.

We had a great time with Rick! He was so accommodating, nice and just made the day fabulous. We even brought our small dog with us and Rick took us to a waterside restaurant so we could take the dog off the boat to pee. The boat is spacious and comfortable. There was a Bluetooth speaker so our teenage daughter could play her music and we stopped for swimming. We all had a great time and will definitely be going out sailing with Rick again

Perfect day on the water! Captain Rick is incredible and the Nirvana is spectacular. We explored the Sound, found great swimming spots, napped in the sun, barbecued - could not have imagined a better, more comfortable and fun day. Captain Rick is amazing with kids and adults alike, truly above and beyond with the kids and the grill, and a joy to spend the day with. We’ll be making this a tradition!

Our group of three had a blast on the water with Rick. He took care of everything, we felt safe and pampered - what a treat to have our own charter on the Sound. We sailed, jumped in the water, sunbathed, gabbed. The boat has absolutely everything you need. Could not have asked for a better day, a better time or a better captain! We’ll be back :)

All the other reviews are absolutely correct - Captain Rick is amazing and provided an unforgettable experience. We celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday with 6 of her friends, and they had a blast swimming, sitting on the bow in the waves, and a burger/hotdog lunch which Captain Rick grilled for us. He's great with everyone, and we felt safe the entire time (even with some solid winds and decent waves!). You can't go wrong - highly highly recommended!

Captain Rick is family now. He seamlessly blended in with and interacted with my family wonderfully. He is an awesome Captain and the Nirvana is an awesome boat. He has taken meticulous care of the craft and you will not be disappointed with your voyage. We took an all day Memorial sail from Mamaroneck to the Norwalk Harbor and back. We sent mom off in style and made lifetime memories for those she has left behind. Thanks Captain Rick for taking good care of us. We look forward to sailing away with you again.

Rick was awesome! The boat was perfect. Plenty of room for the 10 of us and such a fun, relaxing ride. Rick was a great captain - he stopped to let us jump in and tied our rafts to a rope so we didn’t float away. He let us do whatever we wanted on board and was a cool guy to chat with.
