About Simon
“G'day! I'm Simon, an Australian transplant now living in St Petersburg, Florida with my wife Marsha, another transplant, from Minneapolis, Minnesota We love the outdoors and sunshine almost as much as we do being out on the water. We have both been operating boats since we were kids. Simon got bitten by the sailing bug at 21 and completed his ASA to skipper large cruising sailboats. Those bareboat cruising adventures have taken him to Croatia, The Great Barrier Reef, and Catalina Island multiple times to name a few. Our Cobalt 25SC is our personal boat, we bought it to be able to explore the Tampa Bay area's many beautiful and amazing waterways and we look forward to sharing this with you! We are very experienced in the pier-to-pier world and are also active hosts sharing our Mustang GT Convertible available via Turo and our two Vespa scooters on Riders Share. Beautiful boat, Simon was great to deal with. As to be expected in Florida, weather changed from what was planned and this 25’ cobalt was just the boat to have! There’s a reason cobalt is the #1 bowrider/runabout in the industry! We will rent from Simon every time we’re in the area.

Simon provided an outstanding boating experience. The boat was in pristine shape. It was very clean and operated perfectly. Simon was on time and made pick up and drop off a snap. I would highly recommend renting from Simon.

Simon was super easy to work with and communicate with. Great clean boat. Our party of 4 had plenty of space and enjoyed our time thoroughly.

Simon is great at communication and flexibility. The time I scheduled was 10-4 and that morning the conditions were a little rough and he was concerned about safety first which I appreciate. We were able to move to time from 12-6 when the conditions were better. The boat was great for getting over to Shell Key for sandbar hopping and enjoyment. Very easy to drive, maneuver, and relax on for two people. Highly recommend!! Thanks again Simon, look forward to renting again.

Beautiful boat, easy to run, everything works perfectly and is very intuitive. Simon was responsive and enjoyable to when with. I'll be renting from him again!
