Captain Dan was awesome! Great communication! The boat was perfect for our group of 8. We even water skied in the ocean. We spent July 4th anchored in beautiful Emerald Bay. Beautiful boat and was easy to handle.

Captain Dan was awesome! We made a last minute booking and Dan was able to launch the boat and have us on our way in 45 minutes from the time I booked. The boat was perfect for 6 people and handled perfectly in the open water and was easy to maneuver and dock. Everything worked and this was exactly what my family and I were looking for. WOW! I don't even know where to start!! By the end of our day with Captain Dan everyone was asking for his contact information because they had such a good time. I reached out to Capt. Dan because I wanted to throw my sister an exceptional bachelorette party and she had mentioned that a boat would be cool. We had 7 people fit comfortably on the boat and could have fit a couple more.

From Day 1 Dan was emailing and planning away-- he stocked the boat with drinks for us including margaritas, he took us out for an amazing lunch, he brought us all captain hats, he bought a Last Sail Before the Veil banner, he acted as the photographer, he gave everyone a chance to drive the boat, we did wake boarding, we did tubing, we got to just go fast!!! and we got to take an afternoon nap in the sun too. We had the opportunity to see seals out on the buoys and we also got to see Naples Long Beach which was magical-- a tour of the multi million dollar homes, and a relaxing float through the canals -- we even saw a Gondola. Music system was excellent and we got to play whatever we wanted. Dan was easy to hang out with and put up with some crazy bachelorette dancing :) He also got us all of the photographsliterally the day after our boating event. This was worth every dollar, the experience was above and beyond what we expected. We felt safe, we felt relaxed, we had a party and we will def consider doing this again!!!

We have been taking boat vacations for more than 30 years and the trip this year was one of our best because of the boat and our dealings with the owner. The boat was spacious, very clean, and performed excellent the entire trip (including fuel efficiency). It had everything we needed to hang out on the lake all day long. We used the boat to waterski, wakeboard, tube, and cruise around listening to music. The 2 extended swim steps on the back made it super easy to get in and out of the boat for swimming and water sports. From making the reservation to returning the boat, the entire experience was positive. I would highly recommend renting Dan's boat!

Dan - we are grateful to have been able to rent your Cobalt 262 during our recent boating trip/vacation. As you know, our family has been going to Lake Havasu for the last 40 years and we like to do it all - fishing, waterskiing, wake-boarding, tubing, going to different restaurants and “spots” up and down the river, and stopping in coves to drop anchor the stern and bow anchors and just chill. Your boat met all of our needs and allowed us to have a fantastic vacation. We listened to music during the entire trip and we could hear the stereo at full speed, or while sitting 100 feet away on the shore. The extra large double swim step made it easy for everyone to get in and out of the water or lounge on the back soaking up the sun. We are already planning for next year! Thank you Dan. We couldn't have had a better experience from beginning to end. Dan is a wonderful owner and extremely accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed. Above and beyond! The boat is very, very nice. Great condition, amenities and speed. We had seven passengers the entire trip to Lake Tahoe, and the boat never skipped a beat. We will absolutely rent from Dan again, and highly recommend you do so as well. Great experience!!!

Dan’s Cobalt was once again the highlight of our recent trip to Lave Havasu. We have been renting this reliable Cobalt for many years because Dan keeps it maintained, clean, updated, and trust worthy (boat safety and reliability are vital for a stress-free boating trip). This particular vacation we did it all - chillin’ and cruisin’ in the channel, dropping the anchor to watch boat races, water sports, day trip up river to Pirate’s cove, and a smooth ride back down river at 40+ MPH while other boats were going 10 MPH to avoid the chop. We are avid, experienced boaters and it is rare to have a boat that can handle everything...including heavy chop where you get the benefit of a deep “V,” good power, and with it trimmed up if feels like you are zipping across a cloud (passengers are having a blast). We like music and could still hear with “Captain’s Call” on or off. Dan’s Cobalt was perfect for our group and had everything we need, including high end GPS (recording all of your water movement), wakeboard tower with speakers, and a HUGE swim step for hangin’ out on the back of the boat and easy access in and out of the water - secondary sound controls are also accessible from the swim step. Great experience working with Dan..he is punctual, boat is clean....and boat can move. His boat, and I am familar with Colbalts...is the KING of runabouts and when you put the captains call on its like a harley on water..will do it again. reasonably priced whether its a half day or full day. Trust me I know..I use to be a boat owner myself

I can't recommend Dan (and his boat) enough! He took a group of boys out for my son's 16th birthday and they had a spectacular time! Dan knew exactally how to engage these teenage boys and they thoroughly enjoyed water toys, fishing and cruise time in the harbor. A most memorable birthday and we will definitely book with Dan again!

Dan was awesome to rent from - he was super responsive with his communications, flexible with timing and even delivered the boat to Long Beach, which was super convenient for my group coming down from LA. The Cobalt is in mint condition, I couldn't find a single piece of deterioration or weathering, and it handled the swell out to Catalina with ease. Oh, and the speaker system on board is awesome, you can hear the music crisp and clear even at planing speed. I'm sure I'll be back to rent again! Thanks Dan!

Dan and his Cobalt provided a great experience for my family and I. The boat is beautiful. Dan delivered the boat to me with a full tank of gas, a fresh case of drinking water and water skiis, a wake board and a great tow raft. It led to a great week and the boat performed flawlessly.

Dan was amazing! Very helpful and accommodating. He knew the boat inside and out and was able to provide clear guidance on how to use everything. He even provided a wakeboard, tube and another amenities free of charge!

10 Stars Dan! What a great experience. Captain Dan made everything from start to finish easier than owning a boat. His Cobalt is beautiful and very well maintained. The boat is very comfortable for 6 people and gear. Dan has all the accessories and goodies you will need to have fun. I’m looking forward to our next booking with Dan.

This was my first Boatbound rental and thanks to Dan's patience and guidance, my anxieties were eased. On arrival, Dan pre-launched the boat and it was ready to go. After comprehensive safety and operational briefing plus legal contract signing, we were off. The boat is in Bristol condition and runs like a thoroughbred. It is way faster than I care to go. Panel and electronics are state of the art and fully operational. Beautiful Lowrance color GPS Chartplotter/Depth/Fishfinder. Outstanding Stereo system with "line in" and Bluetooth, also has USB for charging. On occasion, we would flip on the "Captain's Call" to loud exhaust mode and boost our testosterone levels. It worked.
Boat is very stable, smooth, fast, and handles like a dream. At the end of our 7 hour day, Dan was at the dock to welcome us. I am handicapped (bad knees) and Dan assisted me off the boat and even carried my bags up the car, a true gentleman. Absolutely wonderful day. Will definitely rent "4th Quarter Chase" again.

I think I just won wife of the year award from my hubby’s friends thanks to Capt Dan.

He took us out on his boat for a relaxing day on the water for my husbands birthday celebration.

As soon as I booked he sent me a text to work out logistics. He called and confirmed the day before and even checked in on us the next day. Seriously a stand up guy!

We cruised Alamitos Bay for a few hours, relaxed on the beach and had lunch and then he took us out in the ocean where we did some inner tubing which was the most fun I’ve had in so long.

I hadn’t even realized he was taking pics of us all having a great time and sent me a link with pics the next day. Such a nice touch.

You can tell he cares to make sure everyone is having a great time. I can’t wait to hire Capt Dan again.

Dan is the greatest! Boat was just the way Dan said it would be. A wonderful day on the water that was perfected by the Cobalt boat. Knee boarding, tubing and water skiing were so much fun that we cannot wait to come back! The boat is in excellent condition. The stereo (with a remote) and the swim step that is at the water level are just extra touches that made the day so special! Thank you for everything!!!

Dan and his boat are fantastic!!! He was so understanding. We rented the boat to go out near the Queen Mary and towards Catalina to release our Father's ashes. Our Dad had loved water sking and in 1974 had waterskied to Catalina. Dan was fine with us driving the boat on our own. Everything worked perfectly. The boat is truly a beautiful machine. We went fast at times...as our Dad used to love the ocean and racing over the waves. So worth it. Unforgettable.

The Cobalt 26' is a first class day boat and Dan had all the toys for a great day on the water. Dan was very flexible in working with our time (even on a holiday weekend). -Dan was responsive from the start of the planning. He answered all my probably annoying questions and made the planning process very easy.
-During the day, Dan was professional, but more importantly he was a treat to be around as he was FUN!
-Dan also willingly took photos of the experience and shared them after the trip.
-Our entire group loved Dan. It was very evident that Dan genuinely enjoyed taking groups out for some excitement.

The Boat:
-The Cobalt is a very nice and comfortable boat. It was perfect for our group.
-Dan has all the toys! From wakeboards, to water skis, to an inner tube. No shortage of challenge and enjoyment.
-Great sound system. We danced while we basked in the sun and did water sports.
-This thing is fast! Was very fun to open the throttle as we journeyed to a nearby brewery.
-Dan kindly provided water, ice, and gatorade.

This was our second rental from Dan and it was again perfect. Dan's assistance, patience, and punctuality are unparalleled. The boat is in bristol condition and will no doubt rent it again.
