“Dual carriers in medicine and navigation. 25 years as advanced practice RN. 12 years experience in owning, maintaining and navigating my own boat. The first of my navigation experience was on Lake Conroe and Lake Houston. But the sea was calling my name. I moved to Galveston and started navigating the waters of Galveston Bay, Matagorda Bay and Rockport. Today I call my second home the West Bay of Galveston; I am a captain for hire. I will take you in my boat, or drive you around in your boat, so you can sit back and enjoy your time on the water. I can teach you how to drive and navigate a boat. Also water sports is my first love in boating. Lets go tubing!”

We had the pleasure of sailing with Captain Mellissa during a recent trip and I would recommend her to everyone. From start to finish, Captain Mellissa was professional, knowledgeable, and made our outing a memorable experience. They made sure we felt comfortable and at ease before we boarded the boat. Safety was a priority, and Captain Mellissa and the boat owner took the time to ensure we were all taken care of.

I couldn’t recommend Melissa more as a captain. She provided a sunset and dolphin outing for my wife’s 36th birthday. She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and made for an unforgettable night. I know when searching for Galveston boat rentals, the bulk come up for fishing, but she does that and so much more. Don’t hesitate to book and request her because she will not let you down. Thank you again, Melissa, for such an amazing trip!
