do NOT book with Richard. He is only using this as a way to try and scam people. We booked 4 months before we were going out with a captain, 3 days before he let us know there was no longer a captain available and said we could drive the boat. When we met with him he was extremely unprofessional and made the group VERY uncomfortable. He then proceeded to try and say we got stuck and we owed him money. If you are looking for a nice relaxing day do NOT put yourself through this.

Tons of dolphins in the May River where he puts in at. Plenty of space and easy to drive his pontoon. Definitely recommend!

Richard was great to work with. He was so responsive, answered all questions, was on time at the dock, took his time to explain the boat, as well as the surrounding area. The boat is 200hp while most pontoons are 90 or 150, and it makes such a difference for getting around. Also, his boat is new and very clean.
We had a great time swimming at the sand bars, and saw many dolphins. It was a phenomenal day, and I would highly recommend renting from Richard.

Awesome experience. Had a great time on the water with a seamless pickup and drop off, river system is super fun to explore and there’s a restaurant with a great atmosphere - Daufuskie Crab Co - that you can pull right up to. Even had a group of 3 dolphins swimming with us at one point.

Richard was prompt and the boat is clean and in great shape. Overall great experience!
