The Wylie 65 team is absolutely fantastic. We chartered with them for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to lead us out on the high seas of the Bay! The vessel itself was wonderful. There were plenty of indoor and outside seating spots. The crew was helpful and accommodating - they even shared some boating secrets to the more nautically inclined in our group. They also provided glasses, didn’t charge corking fees, and made clean up a breeze. I would give them 10 stars if I could, and I will definitely be renting with them again! Thanks Jody + team for the amazing experience and making my birthday truly unforgettable.

This experience is a good value for the number of people you can bring and having no cork fee. I celebrated my 30th birthday and we all had a memorable time. The process of booking and planning was also smooth.

It can be quite the adventure at certain parts of the trip where they have to angle the sailboat to turn. So it isn't a completely 'level' trip, which might be worth letting your guests know. Everyone had a fun time and was glad to get to experience the bay in such a unique way.

We had an amazing team building event on the Derek Baylis! Everything worked perfectly and the coolers prefilled with ice and speakers were a great touch. Perfect combination of thrilling and relaxing.

What a great experience! I chartered the Derek M Baylis for my birthday this past weekend and Jody and Marja made the coordination very simple and smooth. The team onboard was amazing - attentive, kind and made the trip very fun. The boat itself is huge and we had so much space which is important during these covid times. I will definitely book this one again in the future but maybe for more than 4 hrs next time because it went by so fast!

I recently booked with Jody and the crew of the Derek M Baylis for an afternoon sailing with our best clients and we had the very best time. I was absolutely blown away by every step of this process! Jody was very accommodating right out of the gate as we had to change the date of the trip several times, Marja who helped with coordinating everything secured us the most amazing appetizer/snack spread ever, which I got SEVERAL compliments on from our guests, and last but not least the crew onboard that day were unbelievable. They went out of their way to make us feel cared for. I can not say enough good things about this team. If you are ever thinking of booking a sailboat for the day 100% book with the Derek M Baylis!

Booked for a burial at sea (ashes). Boat was so cute, our captains were fun and funny. We requested to go out far and the water was super choppy which makes for a really fun bumpy ride, I couldn't stop laughing and singing sea shanties. Great time had by all that didn't have motion sickness haha! 10/10

The vessel, management and crew were amazing! The boat's design is perfect for hosting, wide with plenty of room, yet still lets you get a true feel for sailing and keeling.

I rented Jody's boat to celebrate a special family event. I and my guests had an absolutely superb experience! All my guests (including two little kids) loved your boat and your awesome crew. Jody's crew took my team of 25 co-workers out on an amazing cruise of the SF Bay. We took a stop over in Angel Island and had time to check out the museum and explore the island. The crew were all super friendly on the boat and even showed a few of us how to sail :) We had an amazing time and will definitely be back for another event, likely in the summertime or to head out and check out the whales + sharks!

Jody and his team were brilliant. They helped us figure out what to bring, how to dress and what to expect. They hosted us (a party of 15) on a sunny Saturday and were the perfect blend of informative, fun, in-the-background and just awesome. We highly recommend them and will be seeing them again in the future.

Our Captain this trip was Saxby and good lord, him and his team made this experience absolutely unforgettable. We rented with Jody for a team outing for our company, about 30 people total onboard. So naturally, we brought a lot of snacks, alcohol, and of course lunch. Well, the entire team could NOT have been more accommodating and helpful. They helped us load up the boat, they unboxed all of our beer/champagne, and put it on ice. They laid out our food for us. It was like having a fully paid help staff on board. We had to do very little.

Saxby and his crew were amazing gracious and wonderful people. So incredibly kind, nonjudgemental (to the folks who don't know how to sail, or maybe had too many beers) they were so pleasant and easy to talk to. They basically planned the entire itinerary for us, so we had to worry about very, very little. They took us all around the bay, we did a biology team building event that they put together for us, we went under both bridges. I could go on and on and on. If you need a large boat for ~30 or so people, this is the one for you. No question.

The entire time my team kept approaching me telling me what an amazing experience it was. The boat itself is huge and impressive. Lots and lots of space! They had tons of coolers and fridges for the food and alcohol. Saxby and his team clearly knew exactly what they were doing and were very experienced and ready with recommendations or even just fun facts about where we were going or what we were seeing.

All around, a huge success. I cannot recommend Jody + Wylie 65 enough, we had an absolutely fabulous time! Thank you so much!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this charter! The crew has a great attitude and was nothing short of hospitable. The boat comfortably fit our big group and the crew made sure we got the real sailing experience. The charter helps support a good cause, which was icing on the cake.

Sunny skies, friendly and knowledgeable crew, and one of the best birthday experiences ever. From initial booking to the days leading into the event, the Wylie team has been exceptional in providing us upfront information and answering questions that we had. The boat itself was beautiful, clean and was able to accommodate our group of 18 very comfortably. The experience was terrific from booking the trip to disembarking the boat. The info sheet provided answered all of my questions upfront and the instructions for meeting and boarding were not only super helpful, they made me confident that every detail was considered. The captain and crew were knowledgeable about the boat, the waters we sailed in and the sights from the water. They were also really fun. Sailing the Bay on Jody's Wylie 65 was the perfect team activity. I highly recommend!

From booking to the end of the sailing trip, Jody was AWESOME! So helpful and kind! The crew was also great. I had an absolutely incredible experience with Jody. From booking the boat to the day of the ride everything was seamless and a lot easier than expected. The journey itself was incredibly fun with zero speed bumps. The crew let our guests help lift the sails, steer the boat etc.. everyone had an absolute blast. Myself and the rest of the crew are all trying to plan another trip with Jody in the near future.
