Our experience from beginning to end was beyond excellent. This was my first time using boatbound; for that, I didn't know what to expect. Vitaly was extremely professional and prompt at messaging me back, answering all of my questions when I had them. When it came time to our BOAT DAY, everything went so smooth. My group and I arrived, boarded, brought on drinks/snacks, made ourselves at home, and enjoyed the day on the gorgeous boat. Everything on board was clean. Our captain was professional and so much fun. We truly had the best day ever. Ultimately, if I could rate this boat and experience with more than 5 stars, I would.

We had out of town guests and spent a gorgeous day with them cruising around Lake Washington and docking up at Leschi and Kirkland for lunch and snacks.The best way to show off Seattle is from the water! Vitaly's boat was very clean and ran well. The self check-out system he has worked great! I would rent from him again.

Vitaly was very responsive, had the boat completely ready for us, and provided clear instructions. The Chaparral 196 was in very good shape, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing day on the lakes. Having the boat already in the water in a covered marina is very convenient, and it's right next to a fuel dock! Ample free parking as well. Would rent again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.

Beautiful boat and Garrett our Captain was great to work with. We had been out in Seattle several times. So he was gracious enough to take us towards Kirkland. The owner of the boat was quick to reply and saved us!! We had a different boat thru boatsetter cancel less than 24 hours before our outing, no explanation. We were very thankful to BH for saving the day💕. It was a beautiful experience!

We had a great time, the boat was beautiful. There were only 2 downsides which is the only reason I can't give a full 5 star review, the first being that the ad states there would be a grill, but there isn't one at all. We had brought a bunch of food to BBQ expecting a grill so it definitely put a damper on that. Also, I had booked the rental from 11am-5pm and expected that meant we would be ready and out on the water by 11 but our captain Sennett didn't actually show up until 11, so by the time we got all our things loaded, and stopped to get gas it ended up being about 12pm before we actually got out on the water. We had a great time regardless but for the amount I spent on the rental I wish we got the full allotted time and the amenities we were expecting based on the ad.

Absolutely perfect experience. Entire rental was seamless and the boat was absolutely fantastic. Captain was nothing short of wonderful who went above and beyond to make the day great! The entire experience made for the most enjoyable day on the water with family. 24 hours later and my nephew is still talking about how much fun he had!

Very nice boat. It would have been nice to know that to get to out of the inlet to the bay you had to go through a boat lock. There are two and you need to take the small boat lock.

Boat was very easy to use! Ran splendidly and started right up! Would be nice if the trim gauge worked. Also, boat was a bit dirty. The windshield was very dirty and there was soda spilled in places. Also, no bimini top. I would rent again though.

Renting from Vitaly was a great experience! Instructions for finding and operating the boat were clear and timely. I would definitely rent again. Only issue was that one of the two bumpers mentioned in a previous review was missing. Was not an issue for us, as we only docked against a padded dock, but would be useful to have for future rentals.

We had a great experience renting from Vitaly! He sent all the information a couple of days beforehand and all instructions were easy to follow. The boat was easy to find, and being able to come and go meant that we were able to spend the day on the water, go out to dinner, and go back out for a sunset cruise afterward. Quick, thorough communication and easy rental experience.

Had a wonderful Father’s Day this weekend renting this boat for our family of 4. Pick up directions was clear and boat was well kept and clean. It was our first time renting so we didn’t know what to expect. We fumbled a bit trying to fill gas ourselves because we didn’t know where the gas tank was but luckily the boat is located right by the gas station and the staff was very helpful in teaching us how (they are not allowed to help you fill gas). The space where it is parked was tight so we had to go back and forth several times trying to park in the stall at the end but we managed with 2 adults (Definitely cannot park yourself without help). It was also a sunny day and I wish there was a Bimini top. Maybe we didn’t know where to look, we didn’t see any on the boat. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. Would definitely rent again in future if decide to go out again.

Overall it was a good experience but the boat was rather dirty with old food, dog hair, and even some type of animal feces.

Excellent in every way.

Vitaly was an excellent host. He was easy to contact and provided clear instructions for accessing the boat. The boat itself was phenomenal. My family and I (7 total) had a blast boating around Lake Union and Lake Washington. The perspective from the water is completely different than from the road or trails and provided a unique way to experience the city. The full-day flexibility was excellent and we enjoyed returning in the evening for night cruise around Lake Union.

My friends and I wanted to do another boat this year and are bummed he is already booked! Highly recommend and hope to use his boat again soon!

Would rent again. Four of us fit on the bow perfectly and stayed there pretty much all night. Love having a toilet on board. Plenty of room to move around.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day on Lake Washington in Vitaly's Chapparral. It is a quality boat at a nice price, very quick, comfortable and smooth riding. It is well designed with plenty of storage and other places to put things. We stopped for lunch and used the very solid and handy anchor stored in the bow. The engine was strong and smooth running, starting right up after every stop. The rental is "self service" which means it is ready and waiting at the moorage; some past experience is handy to get it going and out of the dock area. It is located just past the Fremont bridge, a very convenient city location with free parking right in front of the covered marina. We can't wait for another outing.

Vitaly's boat was clean, well maintained and very fun to take out on Lake Union/Lake Washington. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again.

Vitaly was more than helpful and extremely and gave perfect instructions on how to access the boat. We had 8 people and had ample room to move about and hang out, but if you were looking to do water sports I'd suggest keeping it down to 5 or 6. The boat is in great condition and would rent from again!

Easy pickup

We've taken Vitaly's boat out several times now, and it's always a great experience! Vitaly is responsive and helpful, and super easy to work with. We've already booked more dates and are looking forward to it.

The boat rental was great! I would recommend this boat to anyone! We didn't really have any questions so I can't comment on Vitaly's communication, but he did text us the day before with clear instructions! We had no issues! The boat is parked at a marina with free parking. You have a code to access the boat and the keys and can use it all day from 8am-8pm. It is large and probably comfortable enough for about 7 adults, though we only had 4. We cruised around Lake Union, and all around Mercer Island up to Kirkland where we parked for a couple hours at the dock (free parking for up to 3 hours) and got lunch. All-in-all, great easy day! We gassed up after our LONG boat ride and ended up putting 20 gallons in the boat (~$100 in gas). Worth it for such a fun day!

Look no further. This Chapparral 196 SSI is a beautifully handling boat that you will thoroughly enjoy.

Vitaly takes excellent care of his boat and the dock is fully covered so no need to fight with removing a boat cover.

Diamond Marina is in a great location on West Lake. Easy access to the Locks or Lake Union/Lake Washington.

We easily pushed the boat out of the narrow covered slip and easily maneuvered into the bay. Returning was just as easy. Line up on the 4th covered slip and then pull her in.

Instead of loading our supplies here, we loaded up at the public dock near the Historical Boat Society.

Note, the all around whitelight is under the back bench if you are out at night.

This boat is a dream to handle and Vitaly makes the whole process easy. All self service.

Before you go out, Check the boat cleats. We did not see a front left cleat so we always docked on the starboard side.

The two bumpers he provided were plenty.

We found three lines on board for docking, two short and one long one. We tied the two short ones together to make two suitable lines.

And for the person who mentioned no flag... there was a flag on board when we went out! Vitaly must have read your comment and added it.

All in all a great boat and a great experience. Loved it!

Boat was great. Never met Vitaly, but we had no problems with his instructions. We had a great time.

We had a great time on Vitaly's boat: 2 little kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents. Vitaly was super responsive and easy to work with before, during and after our rental. Instructions for pick up and drop off were clear and no-hassle. The boat was easy to handle and made efficient use of the gas. We did get the tank only 1/4 full so had to fill up first thing. It worked out well though as we may have returned after the pumps were closed for the day. We would definitely rent from Vitaly again.

Better late than never on this review! Vitaly, his boat, and our Captain-for-the-day Sennett exceeded all expectations last September. We toured Lake Washington seeing celebrity houses and even made a port-of-call stop by the airport to pick up a late sailor before drop-off at the UW/Stanford game. Highly highly recommended and we hope to sail with Vitaly and Sennett again next year.

Sennett was a fantastic captain! The boat was beautiful and we had an amazing time.

We had a great time on the boat! 7 people fit perfectly with coolers. To give an idea of gas prices (which should be included in budgeting) we were out for 6 hours, used 23 gallons, and spent about $120 for gas. Worth every penny!

Vitaly was great with instructions. He contacted me a couple times prior to arrival. Everything went well. His boat is ideal for up to 6 people. We had a great time on Lake Union and Lake Washington. The stereo was great as well. My guests had a great time.

We had a great team outing with Sennat as our captain. The boat is terrific, very clean, and comfortable for 8 people. He also was fine with us being dropped off at a restaurant instead of back at the dock. Super easy to organize and head out, highly recommend the boat and captain!

We had an awesome time! Will definitely refer, and hopefully be back later this summer.

My family of four rented Vitaly's Chaparral for the day and had a great time. It was a really easy process. Vitaly sent us the instructions to access the boat and all was as expected. The best part is that the boat is in covered moorage right on Lake Union in a spot where there is weekend parking. You will not need to take off a cover to use the boat. The walkway on the dock is only the width of the pilings on each side of the boat so departing takes a couple of people to untie from inside the boat and walk the boat out. You can not leave the slip under power as it is only slightly wider than the boat. Longer tie lines and the replacement of a missing front cleat would make this easier. Otherwise the boat started right up and handled well. All indications are that the boat is well maintained. We brought our own tube and flag as there was not one on board. The sheriff didn't see our flag at one point and pulled us over so make sure you have a flag. On return, you need to back carefully up to the slip and have help from a person on each side of the boat to walk it in by hand. This will not be possible under power but this is easy as the dock is well protected with no waves. My wife would have had the boat be a little cleaner but it was more important to me that the boat be mechanically sound which it was. I would definitely rent from Vitaly again.

Wonderful rental experience. Vitaly makes everything easy. Simple check-in w/ instructions for gate and lockbox for key. No hard time restraints on rental times for a full day rental. Boat is kept in nice condition and runs well. Had a fantastic day on Union and Washington. Thanks Vitaly.
