Bass Fishing
Sail your Lake Chelan boat rental out into the middle of the lake and drop a few fishing lines into the water. Chelan Evening Farmer’s Market
At the Chelan Evening Farmer’s Market, you’ll find tomatoes, peppers, herbs, plums, and peaches. There are also cherries, apples, hummus, goat cheese, lavender and other flowers. Entertainment is offered at the market, including stories and an activity table for children, and music for everyone. The Chelan Evening Farmer’s Market takes place at Riverwalk Park each Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm during the summer.

Chelan Riverwalk Park stretches for about 12 acres along the Chelan River, and it includes a one-mile scenic river loop that is perfect for boating. There are several shaded benches along the trail and picnic areas, a grass playfield, and numerous great fishing holes.

In addition to the lake, you’ll find plenty of smaller lakes and waterways nearby. The wide Columbia River lies just four miles east. This can be a good place for water-skiing, parasailing, kayaking, tubing, or simply cruising. You will also see windsurfers and sailboats, especially in the Lucerne Basin and near Stehekin, where the winds are the most consistent.

Sail your Lake Chelan boat rental around the lake and enjoy the many beaches and protected swimming areas. If you visit in winter, take part in the Polar Bear Splash event, which is part of Lake Chelan Winterfest. This is held during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend in January.
